I was recently visiting so I decided to try the shrimp and grits, there was no flavor at all concerning the grits and the shrimp had breading that apparently needed more time to fry my order came in a cup and an ounce of cheese no salt or butter very disappointing

It was so good! I highly recommend this place! The staff is so sweet and they take care of you. The food was soooooooo good. My boyfriend said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had and I agree. It was delicious!

This review is long overdue! I went to the wrong rolling roosters and had to travel to the correct one. Took me about 20 minutes to get to their location back in November. They were pretty much closed but stayed open to allow me to eat with my family of 5 as we JOINED my moms crew of 6. The food was amazing, the crew was super sweet and they did not rush us or make me feel bad at all. Loved coming here! Will be back when I'm in the neighborhood.

My first time eating at this restaurant and the wings and waffles were AMAZING ?.. the wings were delicious and seasoned well... the waffle was hot fresh a buttery... if you’ve haven’t tried it you should definitely stop by .. a bit pricey but worth it... ( Shot Out to the Head Cook... ANTHONY ) thanks for making it a wonderful experience!??

I am glad my partner had a craving for peach cobbler while we were visiting Austin. We found The Rolling Rooster via Yelp and we were so happy we drove a little out of the way for peach cobbler. While were there we also had banana pudding, which was just as delicious. We'd definitely come back on a trip back to TX to try the chicken and waffles. Great service. Very welcoming!

The chicken is good but you can get way more food at Raising Canes or Chic-fil-a for the price. It's not good enough to warrant the high price. They have steadily increased since the first time we visited and now it's just driven us away.

Ordered the chicken tenders and waffle with the banana pudding. WOW!!!! Best chicken and waffles I've had in Austin! Pricilla was fantastic extremely friendly and service was great!! Will definitely be back!

This place has the best chicken wings of any place by far! The service is always awesome! Unfortunately, I understand this particular location is closing. I'm really sad to hear that but I'll definitely visit their other location.
I love fried chicken wings and came here to support the business since so few places do fried wing (although loads of places do hit wings). I also happen to love salt. Unfortunately the wings were too salty even for me. The wings were large and meaty but ruined by the over abundance of salt. Sorry but this was a terrible waste of good wings IMHO. Maybe (hopefully) it was just a bad batch but somehow I don't think so. I may give them another try after they have been there a while.

Wow! This place is really the whole experience. Good soul music playing, friendly wait staff, and the food is so delicious! Their chicken and waffles plate was amazing. The chicken was cooked well, waffles were nice and fluffy, hot sauce, and syrup at the table. If I could give them 6 stars I would be happy to do so!

Every other food truck was open except theirs. We waited for 20 minutes for them to open mind you it was 3 o clock during sxsw. When they finally opened the lady did not greet us she just stood there for a few minutes looking at her nails. We were the first ones to order they were missing a signature dish made specifically for sxsw. Like how do you not have the signature dish for the event. Then when we finally ordered we waited 30 minutes when we saw other people getting their food. We went to ask about our food and they said they forgot about our order because the lady taking the orders wrote it on paper instead of in the system. Like why would you open if you aren't prepared and how do you mess up on the first order!!???!? No apology just refunded our money. Very rude and ghetto never again!!!

When I stopped in there was only one guy working, listening to some old school r&b, singing along in the kitchen. Very relaxed atmosphere. I ordered chicken & waffles and he had it out to me in about 7 minutes. Impressively fast for being alone and having other customers. The waffle was done just right and had the perfect amount of sweetness, however, I was blown away by how juicy and delicious the chicken was. The flavoring is just subtle enough that I couldn't figure out what it was. Glad I found such great food in Pflugerville and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

When I went to this place when they opened years ago the food was better but the cleanliness was lacking. Now it's cleaner but the food is hit or miss. Tonight it was cooked well but too salty.
