I came here because of the reviews paid $32 for a decent variety and barbacoa mixed (lengua and cheek) it was decent nothing to rave about, i hoped for better. Most of the breads were on the drier side (dunking in coffee would be required) not as moist as i would have expected. Probably wouldn’t come again honestly.

Great little bakery with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the baker/owner is very kind. One of the employees was especially helpful and communicated fluently in both languages, which made the experience even better.

Bread is very tasty and pretty cheap. Even though price isn’t that high, the bread is really good.

I recently visited Alvarado’s bakery, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed.
Now, let’s talk about the bread—simply outstanding! Freshly baked, soft on the inside with a perfectly crisp crust, it was everything I hoped for and more. Whether it was their classic sourdough, the fluffy brioche, or the hearty multigrain, each loaf was packed with flavor and baked to perfection.
Beyond the incredible bread, the overall customer service made the experience even better. The staff was knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring I had a pleasant visit. It’s rare to find such a combination of great products and top-notch service, but Alvarado’s bakery delivers on both.
I’ll definitely be returning for more, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious baked goods and exceptional service!

First time buying sweet bread here. They were highly recommended. It’s a bit far from my home, but was so worth it. I bought some concha’s. They were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be going back again.

I don’t like the bread here. Food is a personal preference though, but since I’ve tried this place for years I can confidently say it’s not for me and i don’t like it.
