We love all the Carmelitas restaurants but this is by far the nicest, friendliest and best one yet. The food is always flavorful and has that homemade just like mama makes taste you’re looking for. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly, quick to notice your in need of a refill. Atmosphere is heavenly, so we always take friends and family there. Good place to meet and talk.

Food was great, I ordered the complete with menudo, barbacoa, chilaquiles & 1 egg and everything on the plate was delicious. The chilaquiles were what stood out the most for its amazing flavor and spice. but overall the plate was 10/10. I would recommend family and friends here.

As a DoorDash driver, it’s crucial that orders are complete and ready when I arrive. I was told only one item was missing, but I ended up finding out that five other items were also missing. I had to go back, which wasted my time and gas, and delayed the delivery for the customer. It’s not fair that a customer has to receive their food cold because an employee didn’t check the order correctly. Situations like this affect the customer’s experience and can impact my ratings and earnings. It’s important that items are prepared carefully so drivers can deliver efficiently and customers get what they ordered.

Pidi un plato despues de mi orden y me dice pues va asalir asta el final k todos agaren primero luego el de ustd okay si entiendo k ordene al ultimo pero su comentario ni al caso ok entiendo k ordene al ultimo pero pues no tenia k dicir eso aparte ni buen servicio dio . Igual se molesto por que ordene despues . y ni recivo me via dado asta k se lo pidi y ni la comida k yo ordene me dio .. en fin mal servicio en general

Nice restaurant definitely wasn't above and beyond but was good.
The cooks here dont know what they are doing. Under cooked eggs and runny when I asked for over medium. Bacon was over cooked, almost like beef jerky! Didn't enjoy my breakfast here.

I'm from Minnesota and we do have several Mexican restaurants, but not like Carmelitas. The Carne Guisada was wonderful and the homemade tortillas put it over the top. I'm coming back in February, see you then.

They serve miserable portions, the food is not bad, but the servings are like for children. And any little thing that you ask for, like an extra tortilla or whatever they will charge you for it. The other they I ordered bistec a la Mexicana and the portion was not even enough for two tacos... the few times that I ate there, it does not matter what i ordered is always very little servings. Not coming back again.
