What a hidden gem, their buffet is not only cheap but food is very well seasoned with home made tortillas, I, always hit this spot when am on the valley

This is a real Mexican style food like my mother used to make. Their soup of conchitas and beef has a very unique flavor. Their soup buffet is fabolous even their menudo is good.

I strongly recommended this place to the person looking for grandmother and mother cooking.

Saw a fb clip about this place, so I figured let's check it out. The place is okay, nothing really to rave about. The food was decent, a little on the cold side if you asked me, the service was okay, two waitresses started arguing because they couldn't agree if breakfast or lunch was being served, nevertheless, the price was very reasonable. Overall, 3 stars.

service was bad. The waiter Dulce I believe was her name (she has red hair) was really rude, she made a face when my mom asked her if they had juice for kids. The food tasted weird, the salad looked like it’s old.
The whole place looked like they don’t mop, going towards the restroom is all dirty, piles of dirt/trash everywhere, and it’s over priced, they barely have any options, it’s just pork. Definitely don’t recommend it here.

I live in MX and maybe that's why I was not excited about getting mexican food, don't get me wrong the food is OK but if you get mexican food from MX ofter I would not recommend it.

Okay, so I went here with my mom to eat lunch. We go in and we see a small buffet area and sit down. When we got there breakfast was ending so we got a small portion. The chilaquiles were cold and almost every other dish looked dry. Then the lunch came out and the food was even worse. The meat in dishes didn’t look properly cut or cooked…the empanadas de papa were made with what tasted like instant mashed potatoes…Everything we ate had a bad lingering taste of old oil. I know that the staff already know the place does not meet standards because right at the entrance theres a sign, “Call here for suggestions and complaints”!!!? Definitely do not recommend especially since there’s so many good Mexican cuisine restaurants/buffets all over the RGV.
