Pappadeaux was a good experience overall. I really liked the food and the service; everything we ordered was well prepared, flavorful, and came out in a timely manner. The staff was attentive without being overwhelming, which always makes a difference.
The only thing I didn’t love was the menu. It doesn’t have pictures, and the descriptions are pretty long and complex. A lot of the dishes sound very similar on paper, so it’s a bit hard to tell what really sets each one apart. It made choosing more difficult than it needed to be, especially if you’re not already familiar with the cuisine. Aside from that, though, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back.

Just left the restaurant. Service was not good👎, Waitress barely came to the table only to take our order an never saw her again. She did not check on us for drink refills or anything.
We got drink refills from different waiter didnt get his name but was nice an I couldn't find him but would gave him tip even if he wasn't our waiter.
We came here to because its our favorite restaurant and wanted to celebrate a birthday here and this was not a great start for it.
Food was great, the chefs always do great job 👍

2-6-26 This wasn't our first choice for lunch, but since the other was packed, we made a spur of the moment choice, and boy were we glad we did. Pappa's is a little pricey, but you get your money's worth here.
Wife ordered the lunch Fried Shrimp with fries. She got 12+ shrimp, and a plate full of fries. It came with tarter, cocktail sauce and catchup.
I ordered lunch Mississippi Catfish and Shrimp Etouffee with dirty rice. The Etouffee came with 6 shrimp. I mixed the sauce into the rice. The Blackened Catfish was a large fillet and spiced to perfection. It was too much food, so I shared half the catfish with my wife, and we carried out her fries.
All of the food was perfect. The fried shrimp was lightly coated, the fries were hot, and it may have been the best etouffee I have ever had.
The waiter was on top of things the entire meal, filling our glasses at half empty, and offered to go cups as he brought the bill. We will certainly return

Calamari (not shown) - Excellent as always with a very light breading and great dipping sauces .
Bread and butter (not shown) The bread is usually very good here as was the case tonight. I’m not sure where they source it from but it is always crispy and warm and chewy, which is all the things that you love about a good French bread.
Salmon Alexander - So the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is not because of the flavors, staff or experience, as they were all top notch, which is usual for Pappadeaux’s, I only gave 4 stars for the food due to the presentation. Mind you, the food came out a lot faster than I expected, which shows that the kitchen was working very quickly, which is a good thing, but the presentation was a bit sloppy (I even tried to “Clean up” the plate before taking photos) as you can still see the rice was kind of spooned on the plate, the shrimp, crawfish, and scallops were just kind of thrown on top, and the garnish was kind of off to the side, and even the fork holding the lemon was in the sauce. I know it sounds like I’m being overly critical, but if just a few seconds of attention was given to the plating, this would’ve been a full or five stars.
Crème Brûlée - even though I was stuffed, for some reason this sounded so good to me and it was an excellent way to finish an excellent meal. It was not overly sweet, but quite refreshing due to the medley of berries that it was served with. I don’t know if I’ve ever tasted fresher, berries, but that touch sent this desert to the next level. Even though it’s a simple thing, because it was done so right, it made it something great.
My server Audrey (Rec 192) made my experience an excellent one, as she was very attentive and not overbearing, and made me feel very welcome and cared for.
Highly recommend this location.

Food was great but to my liking my plate it was a little cold, I didn't say anything because I was hungry, you would think that for a $50 plate to be on point. Service was a little slow, we got seated and waited about 8/10 mics before they brought the menu, restaurant wasn't packed so not sure why this happened.

My husband and I dined here to celebrate a very important event. We were greeted by a cheerful staff, we were led to our table. Immediately we were served our drinks, and our server Dorothy took our order. The whole time was very pleasant, and I must say we were wowed by Dorothy and her exceptional service. Not only efficient, but friendly and above all she made us feel very welcomed. Dorothy went above and beyond customer service, very genuinely down to earth. I recommend Dorothy as a server, you won't be disappointed 🙂!

Had a terrible experience with service. We were there for more than half an hour. We were offered bread by 3 attendents which none came with the bread it took them 18 minutes to bring the drinks. We placed the ordered at that time. After 30 minutes we decided to leave. We asked to cancel our order and the manager charged us the full amount including the food that was never served. o asked her why I was been charged that amount and she said she didn’t know that we where not served. Terrible service from manager and attendants. Not going back and would advise my family about this terrible experience.

I come to this location once a week and it was my first time sitting at the side of the bar area. Right away our server, Michael Soto (Mikey), welcomed us and made us feel at home. I have been here many time but have never experienced exceptional service the way I have experienced it tonight. He was very attentive and I really felt like he cared about us and any food allergies we may have. He gave us insight of the kitchen and how the food is made and recommended great options for us to eat. Excellent service and from now on, I will only ask for him when I visit this location.

The only reason I plan to come back is because of Michael Soto, he is so knowledgeable of the menu and because of my allergies he let me know the options available for me. Was extremely patient and understanding. Michael Soto was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Truly made our dining experience even better. Truly the highlight of the night!
