Bought the uncle Roy plate, potato salad was amazing, probably one of the best ones I’ve had ever. Beans and rice, nothing to call home about, below average at best, rice was a little hard. The sausage was alright, not bad at all, nothing special.The chicken tho, it was nice and soft but lacked flavor. also I feel a little miss-led because since it’s a bbq place I expected the chicken to be smoked and I feel like it’s maybe smoked for a little bit at most and then finished off in the oven(to be fair u guys never advertised it as smoked chicken). The chicken Dosent have that nice dry crispy outside like smoked chicken should or a smoke ring, it’s more of a rotisserie style. Bbq definitely feels homemade, none of that super sweet store bought stuff, it’s a nice flavorful and balanced sauce, just a little too runny, but flavor is 10/10. Service was super fast, window lady was super nice and it smells like a bbq place should, nice and smokey. But hey for 9 bucks and it comes with a can of coke, it’s definitely a bang for your buck, but I wouldn’t mind paying more for the same plate if the sides get better and the chicken starts being fully seasoned and smoked throughly

Rice was very dry. Got what seemed like a very small scoop of beans. The only thing that was good on the Texas trio, was the chicken. That was good.
Uncle Roy’s BBQ was delicious! The meat was tender, full of flavor, and the portions were great. The service was friendly and everything hit the spot. Definitely recommend!

There meat game is off the chain. Nice tender juicy. Just what you want in BBQ. There sauce which I believe is in house is sweat very good. The sweet tea was flavored not bad but doesn't beat good ol southern plane sweet tea. Maybe add a touch of mint. I would have given them a 5 star. The only reason they did not. The chips with salsa. Toasted tortilla. Bland and hard as a rock. The salsa I don't know. It was like something you can get at the store. Service was friendly but did not pay attention to my drink either I went half my meal with no drink. But other than that it was the best BBQ meat, I mean smoked to perfection. For a restaurant very good. I will be back with the family for sure. Just change the chips and salsa really.
