First time coming here and we had breakfast. Chiliquillias, chorizo con huevos, and the breakfast burrito. Absolutely amazing. Service was phenomenal, I don’t remember his name but he was very attentive and nice. Can’t wait to come back and have something else.

Enchiladas are amazing, tea was fresh even after they closed for the night. Service was five stars out of five stars ⭐️ loved it. Will be back really soon! Tell Maria “Hola”. Lol
Cons: The queso is reconstituted powdered cheese. The chips are overcooked, too hard, and you can taste the frying oil on them. The guacamole tasted like the bland pre-made kind from the grocery store and was missing flavor like garlic, salt, or both.
Pros: The brisket enchiladas were pretty good. Good rice and beans, simple no frills. The El Charro burrito was humongous, and my partner said it was pretty good. Whatever the cilantro cream side sauce it came with was watery, but tasted okay to me. The margarita was good. The flan was okay, not special but not terrible.
Verdict: there are better Mexican food restaurants in this town that make their foods from scratch.
We likely will not be returning.

Honestly since I moved to Texas, this has been the best mexican food ive tasted here. Thankfully I'm a big guy so I was able to eat 2 entrees ? the tampiqueña and charro burrito were nothing shy of amazing. The horchata ? couldn't get enough of it but I also had to leave room for the Spicy Tropical Margarita which was sooooo good! Hands down my GO-TO restaurant from now on. Service was top notch and the hospitality was great. Overall great experience.

My husband and I visit Los Charros for the second time. They have very friendly staff, and the food has authentic Mexican taste. My husband ordered the flautas, and I ordered the quesabirrias. Reasonable price and food portions. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
