Monte Alteza - Tapas & Wine Garden is a great restaurant and a good place to meet friends and relax. The menu and wine selection are amazing, with a huge wine menu and phenomenal wine choice. The service is outstanding and excellent. The food is delicious, hot, and amazing. Specific meals include a caprese salad that is delish, and little toasts with fig and prosciutto. The building is beautiful with cozy seating. The cello entertainment and a 50s theme with karaoke add to the experience. The mixed drinks were not quite right, and the bar was out of vermouth, but the restaurant is on the right path towards perfection. It is a wonderful gift to the TX hill country area, bringing culture with hill country grace. The restaurant is very clean and makes guests feel very welcome.
