We are visiting from Los Angeles and found this awesome BBQ joint for dinner. Its July and the weather is hot and humid 😫. We started with a frozen peach daiquiri to cool down in front of the AC. Then we ordered a rack of ribs, coleslaw, beans, and mac and cheese. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. Best ribs in Texas, and I've been to a lot of BBQ joints. Everything is home made which makes it better. I highly recommend this place for cold drinks and BBQ. The staffs...
The ribs are great, but the brisket was really dry. I didn't finish mine. Also, the soda machine needed it's CO2 changed. Overall, not bad, but you need good brisket, as that is the staple of a BBQ place in Texas.
1st time here... The meat is delicious! Hubs had the 2 Meat Plate, Sliced brisket & Pinapple Sausage (Sounds weird, but taste GREAT) baked beans were flavorful, & mac n cheese very good (I'm picky). I had the Turkey which was juicy & flavorful. Peach Cobbler was scrumptious!! Super sweet staff with southern hospitality. Will definitely return to try the daqs & axe throwing & of course chow down!
