Ordered take out from here a few nights ago and the food was delicious! Tried to order dessert but they were out at the time, but will have to try next time. Great yummy food and plenty of portions.

A slice of heaven!! Wonderful setting and view of the lake, sharply laid out and decorated! Service was immediate and attentive...thank you Toy!! This is not cheap fake fish...this is the real deal channel catfish fried to absolute perfection! They've been in business for almost 40 years FOR A REASON!!!

The fish and the shrimp were good, fresh cooked to order. It was the side dishes and condiments that threw everything off. The beans were way too spicy, the long hush puppies were too salty and the tartar sauce was over powering with vinegar.

We traveled with friends this afternoon to eat at VAUGHAN'S CATFISH ON THE LAKE. The restaurant was quite busy, but we only had a 5 minute wait and we were escorted to our table, which was set up with beans, cold slaw, hushpuppies, pickled green tomatoes, all family style ! Our order was taken quickly, drink orders served and the ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH arrived ! Everything was spot on. The fish filets were thick, with a light cornmeal breading and perfectly seasoned. The server checked with us frequently, asking if we wanted more of anything. We asked, and we received! Best dining experience we have had in a long time was the concensus of the group. ALSO, a tremendous value. Highly recommended . Thanks to the staff for a great evening..

Waitress was horrible. Food was horrible. It’s frozen catfish don’t eat it.Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. I made the mistake of ignoring the bad reviews don’t make the same mistake I did. I ordered the all you can eat catfish and could only eat 2 pieces. The waitress was rude and would not let my girlfriend take her chicken strips home. Horrible place. Don’t eat here. Also the building is very weird.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Worst catfish and shrimp I’ve ever had. Tasted stale and frozen. I will never be coming back here. I threw up all my food in the bathroom. Waitress was crazy rude and prices are outrageous. They need to close down

Food tasted frozen, atmosphere was dead and stale, service was unacceptable. Steak gave me food poisoning; threw up the whole thing 4 hours later. Prices are outrageous for frozen Tyson food (Tyson would still be better).

Food and atmosphere were ok but not that great. Service was excellent considering how busy our waitress was. Very friendly staff helped bump it up a star.
