Best place for a cozy rainy morning. I'd leave my bed for it. The lavender haze is delicious and so are the breakfast burritos!

I have been here during my last visit to Plano back in 2021. I loved their ambiance. There are lot of place to sit inside or a patio tables outside.
I tried their Mocha latte & Lemon blueberry scone this morning. Scones are so good. It’s always busy in the mornings. Favorite coffee place in Plano, TX

1418 offers excellent coffee with an incredible vibe. Their cozy storefront is the perfect place to meet up, do some work, read, or otherwise just relax. The shining coffee shop of downtown Plano. This is a place I'll be sure to come back to.

Yes, we love our film studio, and also, we love variety. We knew 1418 has like a million super comfy couches (and good coffee - we got the Martin and a cookie. Well the cookie isn't coffee but it was good too. They have good...consumables? Yes.)
We could sit here all day. And probably will. The barista has great energy, the music is staying in its lane, and there are Polaroids on the wall!
10/10 would recommend. Obvi.

Got a matcha latte -- tell me why when I requested an extra shot, instead of extra matcha, they gave me a shot of espresso ? Please don't do that again... It tastes disgusting
Update 2: They used the wrong bread for the sandwich, baguette instead of ciabatta
Update 1: responding to owner reply - I gave your baristas the opportunity to understand the item specifications by submitting the order using the provided options and trusting the employees to understand that an extra shot of the base drink would be the same as the base drink. If you think that customers want a coffee based shot to their non-coffee base, then that is an opportunity for management to do better and reassess their current process. No issue with the baristas as they were nice and it is what it is. Will monitor my order to make sure it isn't messed up again next time I purchase from the establishment.

It didn't take me long, but I found a great, chill coffeehouse in downtown Plano. Lots of comfortable chairs, great coffee (I had the house coffee; my daughter had hot chocolate), and we both had the Drake sandwich. Everything was fantastic! Took my daughter and we spent 2-3 hours drinking coffee and hot chocolate, while we read our respective books. She said it was her favorite part of the day. The staff was very friendly and even though it was my 1st time, they made me feel like a regular--which I hope to become.

Love the vibe, drink selections, quality, etc. I’ve done a lot of remote work, reading, and writing here. Cozy and enough space for the normal capacity of locals. BEST cinnamon rolls ( talking pure cinnamon roll not all the fancy stuff like at cinnamaholics). Only pro tip is to not order ahead via like toast app or door dash for pick up unless you do it well in advanced. Typically my order isn’t ready in time when I use toast or DoorDash pick up and it seems to be quicker just to come in and order there - no shade at the staff here, I think it’s something with the delay or placement in queue on the system side.
