This new place is completely different than the 2 owners before. It was a Chinese restaurant with Pekin duck and all the traditional Chinese dishes afn was there for decades, and now it's completely different. The first thing is the decor. They did a complete remodel. It actually looks much nicer. Pandas everywhere, it very cute. Foodwise, the quality is excellent. Feels very authentic Chinese, not adapted for Westerners taste. The food is now drowning in oil or fat or other sauces. Well done and high quality. However the prices are very high and quantities small. Service is very blah, but there was only 1 waiter waiting on tables, to go orders, phone, etc., so he was very busy, even if we were only 3 tables occupied. He wasn't particularly friendly or helpful when asking questions about lunch menu. Overall, food is very good, but expensive, service is mid, and good contemporary update to the restaurant, it needed it. I am concerned they will go out of business again if they don't make the sizes of dishes larger for the price. I am likely not to return bc of the prices.

This place looked nice so we decided to try it out. Unfortunately, service is non-existent here. Walked in for lunch on a Monday around 2PM and despite 2 visits to our table, the waitress still wouldn’t take our orders or even provide water. 12 minutes later and we are still waiting to get our orders taken. We decided to walk out and went to Tasty Egg Roll.
I’m not sure what the issue is but if I was the owner, I’d train my waiting staff on some restaurant basics. Also, make sure staff can communicate so there isn’t a huge language barrier that could impact service.
We absolutely love ordering from here. The egg drop soup is the best around! And believe me, my husband has tried many others-he only wants 369BBQ. The staff are friendly and accommodating! We’ve enjoyed every dish we’ve ever tried here.
