Worst customer service and food
This was our first time going here and had heard mixed reviews . Then the proximity to home, and the fact that they’re open till 11 was a major factor visit the place. It’s right off Hwy 121 and has a warm and cozy ambience, that quickly grows on you. The lady who seemed like the owner told us that we can order using the QR codes or we could just take her help. We chose the “Human” approach :-) We ordered the BBQ Aloo for starters, along with Dahi Puri, Papdi Chaat, Thayir Vada and the Schezwan Noodles. The BBQ aloo was in two flavors Mint and Garlic, we chose garlic ! The platter came with grilled potatoes , onions and green peppers. The potatoes were boiled just right and the flavor had the perfect char and also an amazing garlicky flavor. Definitely hit the spot. The chaat items dahi sev Puri and pappu chaat were customized to our taste with sweet chutney and the lack there of as requested. Surely matched the typical indian street food vibe👏👏 The Dahi vada / Thayir vada was in a beautiful leaf plate, with 4 small medhu vadas that were perfectly soft, easy to cut with a spoon and just like in south India, dunked in a pleasantly seasoned yogurt pool topped with cilantro ! The flavor transported you directly to the streets of Chennai 👍 The last one, and the highlight of the food fare, Schezwan Noodles, the ultimate Indo Chinese dish was laden with sautéed onions, green and red peppers and smothered with schrzwan sauce that was spicy and full of authentic (maybe a pun bcos, Indo-Chinese isn’t really a formal cuisine, but is a very popular variant in India). So if you’re at Sankalp, definitely explore the Indo-Chinese options as I think you won’t be disappointed . Overall an amazing place for a family meet up, couples retreat or just a bachelor boys hangout, Sankalp hits the high notes on Flavor, Ambience and Service! So what’re you waiting for , just go ahead and splurge already !
Food was prompt, hot and delicious
Every time my coworkers and I order from this establishment, our order arrives incorrect or priced incorrectly. We call, and the business is not willing to correct the mistake. This has happened on multiple occasions. We refuse to order from this restaurant again in the future. Shady business and crooks.
There has most apparently been a change of ownership since my last visit and I'm loving it. Yesterday I stopped for lunch for my first visit in a while and immediately noticed that the buffet is gone, but that's a positive. The new owner is as fine a person as one could ever hope to meet. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction 100% and it is not in vain. The fish curry I had yesterday took me to nirvana. It was simply the best curry I have ever, ever had anywhere. The freshly prepared portion was large, the price very reasonable, and it was served with immense pride. The naan was ever so fresh. Change not a thing is all I can say,.
We use to go a lot and thought it was pretty good but when we went twice in one week and ate at the same table the tablecloth has the same food stains on the next visit. We have stopped going. How dirty must the kitchen be
Taste of India never disappoints! We stopped on the way home from running errands and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We had lamb kabobs, paneer, lamb vindaloo and an amazing little salad of cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. Our young server was friendly and attentive. Don’t miss this little gem off 75 and 380!
I like this spot for lunch , tasty food and good selection. Good value and always on cue and consistent quality. Tikka Misala is nice and nan bread too.

Great family run restaurant. We get Samosas from them every year for our Christmas party and everyone loves them. The owners kids running around the dining room can be hectic while trying eat. The lunch buffet is always fresh and delicious too. Good vegetarian fare.
Great buffet, amazing service , great atmosphere... I would reccomend to anyone who appreciates Indian cuisine...
Great selection of various dishes - salad/main dishes/desserts. Always fresh. Nice and clean restaurant. Best time to have lunch are Tuesdays.
The place may not spring at you as being anything great. Don’t be deceived by the looks. Great service and good food. We enjoyed the hospitality and the food. Highly recommended
Reviewed February 25, 2017 via mobile Wife and I were looking for a place with good food and quick service as she was extremely hungry. Quickly seated and we were able to get our food quickly. We both had the Lentil soup which was great and my wife had the garden vegetable salad. I also went for the mixed vegetable appetizer.
