We were there today for buffet. Food quality was not maintained. $15 per person for such bad quality is not worth it. Poor management, receptionist was unprofessional.

The food was really good and didn't have as much oil! The waiter and the staff were very friendly and open to conversation. Will definitely come again!

3.5 stars. Everything tasted good on the buffet, but many of the foods are too salty. I would have given them higher rating (4-5 stars) if the foods weren't too salty. If only they cut back on the salt, it would be great. Buffet has a lot of variety and good desserts. One of the very few Indian buffets that has ras malai dessert. Very cool to see they have ras malai on their buffet. The cheese in the ras malai was not as soft; may not be the best ras malai, but it's good enough for me and for the price. I also liked the desserts because they aren't too sweet like many other Indian (South Asian) restaurants/bakeries. Friendly, good service-staff.

If the buffet is closed then please say directly. Don’t expect from the customer that they will eat all the left over food if you cannot refill. Food taste also below average

Went for weekend lunch buffet. There were good number of vegetarian and non vegetarian items. Curries and appetizers tastes good but there's a lot of room for improvement in deserts. I would rate the quality of deserts to be 2 starts. There was little khowa if any in carrot halwa, you wouldn't guess you are eating rasmalai unless you read the name and mango lassi was wayyy too sweet. Also no one cleans the table during your trip to get another plate of food. They gave water bottle but it was room temperature. There are couple of employees standing there all the time watching at the buffet which is totally weired.Restrooms screams attention as well. Also realized my hands were yellow from the amount of food color that was used.

We were 2 and ordered chilli gobi, veg biryani and plain naan. Chilli gobi was really good. It was crispy and perfect spicy. Veg biryani was okay.

Please don’t waste your time and money, food is too bad. Rock solid tasteless Idly with week old chutneys. I tasted all the dishes in despair to find at least one good dish, unfortunately owners are thinking more plates of food means food tastes good. its really unfortunate, i would die of huger rather than visiting this restaurant in future. out of all dishes idly is the worst(others also tastes bad) but idly won in bad food competition.

Haven't had this bad food in almost 10 years in the area. We thought we'll give a try last night for South Indian tiffin night. They had masala chai, samosa chat and paninpuri as well which I thought was neat even though I was there mainly for chai and dosa. Got ghee dosa and it wasn't cooked well. It had no salt and it tasted like they had added extra rice flour to make up quantity. It didn't feel like fermented at all. As we were leaving, I heard they had pesarattu. Not sure why they didn't have it earlier. Gulab jamun wasn't stringy like it was full of maids and wasn't fried well. Coconut chutney was the only that felt fresh. Sambhar was good. Red chutney had too much salt. I still cannot believe dosa was so bad. What a waste of $40! Never going g back.

We went to try their Friday all you eat Dosa fare. At $9.99, looked enticing.. but what do they say.. anything that's too good to be true, one ought to be suspicious. Nevertheless, we decided to try and we were disappointed. There was no dosa fare.. the only dosa that arrived and we ordered was ghee roast and it was not a dosa at all. Wish I had pictures... the buffet had a spread, but was devoid of any taste. When I paid my bills and was on my way out, I heard the manager say, they are out of batter and they have reduced offerings, of ootappam and pesarettu. Restroom was appalling! Why? Aren't paying customers entitled to a clean restroom I wouldn't go back and will not fall for this gimmick anymore. Will I recommend this place? No way... I know this location since it was a well run grocery store

As my first time at Desi-Zaika, let alone trying traditional Indian food, I am overwhelmed. This place has easily made it to my top three restaurants/ buffets I have gone to. The tranquility in the atmosphere, the staff, the flavorful variety of food to choose from… it’s just
