Awesome Chinese Cuisine has been on my radar for awhile. Didn't visit sooner because their menu seems very limited. So what's the verdict?Their menu online was very limited. Hoping that they had an in-store Chinese menu, but they don't. Hoping the food was at least good, but it was very average. Claypot Beef was the only good thing.Beware. They don't have roast pork here. Their 3-meat bbq combo is duck, bbq pork, and steamed chicken.Duck was old and looked like leftovers from last night. Chicken was the same as the Imperial chicken we ordered. They should have told us it's the same so we don't duplicate the same dish.Go to Zhang's Kitchen, TKS, Lucky City, Garden, Golden Joy, and First Chinese BBQ instead for good Cantonese food. Better menu selection and much better food quality.Awesome Chinese is far from awesome. Won't be returning to eat.

Here is the tale of the tape: Excellent (5 stars): Peking duck, Chinese Mushroom with Bob Choy, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Salt & Pepper Squid, Barbecue Pork, Roast Duck, Peking Style Pork Chop, Wonton Soup. Good (3 to 4 stars): Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu...

Since changing hands, the restaurant has updated the interior and exterior and improved the service. The food is similar Cantonese style Chinese food. Authentic. They were out of roast duck and the cook made us fresh past 8 pm which was appreciated by us.It has a lot of competition with being so close to East Wall but was busy and really did a great job preparing the food and providing great service!

FIRST AND FOREMOST, we have to say that the family attending this place is SUPER KIND-FRIENDLY, and they go above and beyond! We enjoyed our meals thanks to this peaceful and friendly environment created by each one. If you go, be kind, patient, and respectful with the family. They deserve kindness.We live in Prosper, and driving to fuel our vehicle, we thought of the Pekín Duck from Morimoto (Disney Springs, Florida, Las Vegas, etc), so we searched, saw the pictures of this family business, and went.We ordered two fried rice orders (with shrimp and beef), and the portions were huge (like a 10-inch” plate). We also ordered a won ton soup, and the portion was enough for the three of us, and still, we brought a portion home. The Pekin duck comes with “Asian pancakes,” which are SO DELICIOUS.I must mention that there were few tables with Asian families dining in, which indicates -to us-, that this is a genuine food place to go.While the location is kind of far, WE desire to come back.Last but not least. Prices are affordable considering the portions, the attention and the fact that they have PEKIN DUCK!!! YumYum yum

Decided to check this place out for lunch and was not disappointed. They were not busy and we were sat right away. There isn't a lot to say about the inside but it's nothing fancy; just traditional seating. The gentleman serving us was nice and friendly and was very sincere. He got our drinks right away and gave us time to look over the menu. I was there with a friend and we wanted some leftovers so we ordered the General Tso's Chicken, the Triple Roast plate, and the beef Lo mein. The General Tso was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I wish it was a bit more spicy but that's my fault for not asking for extra spicy. The triple roast was great. It came with Chicken, Duck, and Pork. The chicken came with this green sauce that was a blend of ginger and maybe lemongrass and it paired perfectly with the juicy chicken. The roasted pork was done to perfection and what you would expect. The duck was cooked to my liking but may be overdone for some. Lastly, the beef Lo mein was good but definitely only after adding some of the sauce from the General Tso's to it. It wasn't bad but we wanted more flavor. Overall, I will for sure be back to try more. Their lunch specials are only $10 (as of 3/2024) so makes it a reasonable place to get good Chinese food during the week.

I was here to just buy 1 roast duck to go, waiting for 30mins. They have 3 to 4 waiters and the place is not fully packed either. Was really disappointed about the wait. I think they need to filter to go orders with regular eat in customers. Restaurant like first chinese bbq have a chief up front just chopping for to go order while the kitchen work separately for the eat ins. Putting the orders all together is very inefficient. Eat in customer can wait slight longer since they are eating while waiting, whereas to go customers just straight up waiting for 30+ mins. I also suggest have 1 of the waiters know how to chop the meat up front since they do display bbq at the counter. They need a more efficient system

Most of the food was good! Agree with other reviews, not enough rice. Will come back to try more dishes and probably ask how we can get more rice! Crispy seafood noodles were bland, looks good but doesn't taste good. Bbq pork and duck was well flavored. Fish maw and crabmeat soup was missing a bit salt but thats an easy fix with table salt. Peking pork was delicious, why isn't there crispy fried salt and pepper pork on the menu?
