So disappointed!!! Reviews were good but I guess I expected too much. Won’t be back. Food mediocre, server tried but didn’t cut it. Doubt this place will last very long in the competitive dining scene in this area.

Food was delicious, the ambiance is great at night with low lighting which makes it look more cozy, the restaurant itself was really nice and Rob was an outstanding waiter. One of the best waiters that I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He always kept our drinks full, always asked if we needed anything and was friendly overall.

We reserved half the patio for a company dinner and it was perfect! We felt completely alone and separated from any other groups. We felt comfortable laughing, talking, giving a speech, etc without worrying about disturbing other patrons. We could hear each other talk almost from end to end of the tables. The service was great and everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts were a great delicious finish. Favorites were the short rib steak, steak tips and mac, and the burgers. I personally loved how many gluten free options there were. You would never guess some of the desserts are GF. The dark chocolate cheesecake was light and so flavorful. Rebeca, who coordinated our evening, was kind and helpful in planning. We had a GREAT evening of beautiful atmosphere, wonderful food and drinks, and impeccable service. Highly recommend.

I have celiac disease so I have to be gluten free. I informed the server and he said that most of the kitchen is gluten free and I should not have any issues. On my receipt it said gluten free bun. They told me they do separate area for gf. The meal it self was yummy but an hour later I was so sick. I came from out of town for work so I used findmeglutenfree to find this place and I was so anxious to try it and so hopeful. So it really disappointing when I got so sick. I don’t think I’ll be back when I come to Dallas again unfortunately

This is a special place. Bavette Grill in Plano has been one of our favorite restaurants for a few years. It’s a cozy, gluten-free neighborhood bistro with impeccable service and consistently delicious food. The chef is a very cool, kind, and personable guy, and he takes real pride in what he serves. The fact that the restaurant opened in 2020—right in the middle of COVID—makes their success even more impressive.
If you have any dietary needs, mention them. The chef is extremely accommodating, and the staff is careful and attentive when it comes to allergies. The food is simple in the best way: clean flavors, thoughtful combinations, and beautiful presentation.
Our favorites are the succulent signature steak, the Estillo Gaucho salad (the pistachios make it unforgettable), and the short rib croquettes—just perfect one-bite heaven. You won't regret indulging in the desserts which are unique and delicious.
And the patio is spectacular—lush, green, and relaxing. Especially in the cooler weather when the fireplace is on. Sometimes you’ll see the chef pop out to clip fresh herbs from the garden for whatever he’s cooking and if he’s out there, you can chat with him for a moment. It’s a small touch, but it makes the place feel warm and personal. You won’t be disappointed here.

We had excellent service and the food did not disappoint. We tried the salmon cakes and brussel sprouts for an appetizer. The salmon cakes had great flavor and tasted fresh. The Brussels were roasted and finished with a Dijon glaze bacon. For our entree, we shared the short rib steak which was cooked perfectly. The cheesy bacon mashed potatoes that came with the steak were a bit heavy but still delicious. Highly recommend the seafood and meat dishes!

I was pleasantly surprised by Bavette Grill! My friend and I decided to have an early dinner (aka “silver hours”) and stumbled across this spot by chance. From the moment we sat down, our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely engaging. Since neither of us drink alcohol, he walked us through their extensive list of house-made lemonades and limeades. We both went with the hibiscus limeade wow, was it delicious! The perfect balance of sweet and tart, finished with a Tajín rim that added just the right kick. If the drink was that good, we knew the food was going to deliver.
For appetizers, we ordered the spinach dip and deviled eggs. You could truly taste the freshness in each bite. For our entrees, I went with the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, while my friend ordered the chili chicken with Brussels sprouts. My only wish was that the grilled chicken portion was a bit larger.
The real star of the evening, though, was dessert: the dark chocolate tart with caramel whipped cream. Each element was heavenly on its own, but together? Dare I say…orgasmic.
All in all, Bavette Grill completely exceeded expectations. Great service, thoughtful flavors, and a cozy vibe make it a place I’d absolutely visit again.

I grabbed dinner here solo on a Wednesday at 8:00ish, I ordered the blackened redfish that the bartender recommended (I think his name was Alex but not 100% sure) and it was truly exceptional. I’m a big fish guy and this was some of the best I’ve had.
I sat at the bar but it looked like most of the tables/booths were full, so I would recommend making a reservation!

While at a recent 4-day business conference, we found this restaurant and ended up eating here multiple times. The food was literally perfect every time we ate here. They have gluten and dairy-free options, their entire staff was nice, and their prices are affordable for the quality of what you get. Their short-rib steak and the French dip sandwich were incredible.

Delicious food in a beautiful space with great service. And literally the first booth I've ever sat in where the table was at the proper height and I didn't feel like a child needing a booster seat.

The vibe when you walk in feels upscale and the cocktail menu confirmed that. The mezcal drink was done very well and had me wanting another. Their deviled eggs are a must and their sides did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfect, but the sauce did most of the work on the dish. Highly recommend this spot!
