I did make reservations however you still have to check in and there was a 30-45 minute wait. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the food and drinks. Will be coming back during the week when it’s less busy on a Saturday night.

We had such a great experience at Benihana! From start to finish, everything was on point. Our chef, Genaro, was absolutely awesome. He was engaging, talented, and made the whole night so much fun. He really went above and beyond and created an experience, not just a meal.
A huge shoutout to the manager, Jorge, as well. He checked in, made sure everything was taken care of, and truly helped make my son’s birthday feel special. You could tell he genuinely cared about us having a great celebration.

It's good food and plenty of it. My only real.issue was that our waiter seemed to be on his own and it took forever to get drinks once seated. He also did my birthday song by himself which was kinda awkward. Only other issue that disappoints me in is the hibachi shrimp. It tastes like the cheap bubble-shrimp-mostly light white color (idk what to call it) ..not the rich, lobster-like meatier shrimp that is cooked fresh and de-tailed/veined on site like at other similar restaurants. Whish they'd invest more in that for the prices.

We walked in and were told the wait time would be around 15–20 minutes. Since it sounded reasonable, we decided to wait. But after almost an hour of standing around, we still weren’t seated. When we finally asked for an update, they suddenly said they couldn’t give us a table anymore because they had reservations — and that we’d only be seated after all reservations were done.
So why tell us 20 minutes in the first place?
It was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. If they knew they couldn’t accommodate walk-ins, they should’ve been honest from the start instead of making us wait for nothing. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from a place like Benihana.
Waited for nearly an hour during lunch on a week day during lunch. Unfortunately the food was just OK but became worse as we finally made it back to the office with our boss giving us the evil eye.

Well tonight was the last time I'll come here. Usually eat here 1 to 2 times a month. They now charge you for sauce. If you want extra sauce or yum yum sauce its $2. You're paying $50 average per meal and they are worried about a 1 oz pour of teriyaki sauce.
Not to mention, the waitress was awful. She basically disappeared. The cook was great. He was embarrassed to tell me they now charge extra for sauce. Looks like Hana in Prosper will be pur new go to.

I normally have a wonderful experience at this location, but today was not their best. Server was nice but I had to ask for more tea instead of the server noticing that I was out. Filet is normally so tender I can cut with a fork, but today was rubbery and fatty. Chef announced to entire table that only women get extra rice. ??? Overall, not a good experience for a $75 meal for one person.

We went to Benihana's for my birthday last night and the service was absolutely terrible! The waitress got our order wrong, hardly ever came to check on us, and we had to beg just to get water refills. We were very disappointed in the service, but the chef and food were amazing!
