Absolutely horrid cake. The Black Forest Cake was frozen and literally couldn't be cut through with the provided plastic knife. I'm not sure how old it is, but it's probably stale. Instead of fluffy, the cake was dense and solid.
I usually go to tour le jour at Ranch, and will continue to do so.

BF Bakery
Highlights:
1. I love this durian cake!
For the love of durian!
For the durian lovers!
2. Chiffon muffins are always fluffy, medium sweet, and now available in four different flavors!
3. Egg Yolk Pastries is a type of moon cake. After trying and comparing to 8 other different bakeries in Texas and Florida, BF Bakery has been my favorite place for this particular pastries. Salted Egg yolk pastries are shaped into a ball filled with a salted egg yolk in the center with a different bean filling in the middle layer. It always tastes fresh, soft with a very buttery and flaky layering dough, and the bean filling has a light moisture while other bakeries make it very dry and coarse. I always have to get one every time I visit this bakery.
Cons:
1. Sometimes the slice of cake taste dry and old because it has been sitting in the case for way too long. If it's a fresh recent baked batch, the cake would be moist and light. So it's a hit and miss. I wish they have a date on when the cake was baked.
2. If you like Italian tiramisu, then I suggest to not waste money trying their tiramisu here. It's a joke. My son picked a slice, besides having tiramisu flavor, it does not taste anything like tiramisu, but rather cakey and dry. You are better off buying the slice from Maggiano or Olive Garden instead.
This is my most favorite Asian bakery I have been to. I wish Central Florida has a bakery like this. I would be their loyal customer for a lifetime. This bakery is located inside of 99 Ranch Market in Plano.
Note: The Hispanic cashier has trouble communicating to me in English when I asked her if the durian cake is available for sale by the slice or not. She had to ask an Asian guy working near her. (Durian cake by the slice is available for $4.99/slice.)

This bakery went downhill a lot recently. The Hispanic girl who took my order today apparently didn’t pay attention or didn’t know how to make the boba tea. I ordered a “kumquat lemon green tea” and I think she asked me “which sugar…” or something similar to that for the sugar level. And when I tried to ask again, her attitude was like…when it’s her who cannot speak English properly. Then the tea she gave me doesn’t have any kumquat flavor. I had to ask a man, probably the lead to make again for me. But none of them said sorry or something. All of the staff were not paying attention to the customers. They laughed and talked to each other and let the customers wait in the line.
taste so bad!
Place is a joke. Employees do not speak English. So if you don’t speak Spanish, expect zero service
What a joke! I went to pay at the checkout and the girl at the front couldn’t speak any English! I had to leave and get help elsewhere! Please learn English! I encountered the exact same issue as the other negative reviews! Pls management, read these reviews and hire someone who can speak to your customers!
Absolute nonsense of a bakery. The salesgirl at the front is hispanic and doesn’t speak a word of English. I wanted to buy bread and drinks and asked about their promotions, the only words she could say was “no”. Im all for diversity in the workplace, but please learn to speak English if you work in customer service, this is a basic skill and requirement. You turn away people and business when you can’t communicate. What a shame.
Don’t order drinks here unless you want to see a circus showAlso, the coffee here has a caustic level of acidity. Their sea salt foam is just whipped cream borrowed from the cake station. Spend your money elsewhere
Good drinks

The lack of any sign on the front of the store at all regarding their days and hours of operation only complicates the fact that Trip Advisor shows an hour later closing time than they actually close. I was recently told by an employee that they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday (the nearest 85C in Richardson is closed also on Tuesday@), so way too often I wind up driving to the Frisco location for the wonderful 85C products.
Closes at 9 not 10. So, we didn't get to try it. The information needs to be updated so people know when to try it.
Very good but modest selections of confectionery. Expanded selection of regional bread. Definitely worth a taste or two.
