Bob's Steak & Chop House

I never give anyone the top score. Everyone can improve, and if they get the top score, there's nowhere to go but down. That said, the service was outstanding. Eddie was fantastic. We were visited by two different managers ensuring everything was going well and that the food was excellent. My wife had the pork chop, and I had the lamb. It was all excellent. Before trying Bob's rack of lamb last night, the only place I've really enjoyed the lamb other that here is Michel's at The Colony Surf in Honolulu. Their onion rings are outstanding, and their bread is melt-in-your-mouth. I've been going to Bob's since the week they opened way back in the late-90s or early-2000s, and it's been exquisite all those years. Keep up the great job.

We have been going to Bob's for years, but this was our first trip to the Plano location. We will be back, sooner than usual. The four of us cannot stop talking about Cesar's service. He is one of the best servers we have ever had wait on us ANYWHERE (and we all are in the industry and dine out 2-3 times per week) - he was polite, charasmatic, knowledgable and an obvious pro! One of our pet peeves is being rushed through a meal and he paced the meal perfectly. We cant wait to come back and request to be in his section again. Thank you!

Excellent, a always. The Chateaubriand was exceptional! We were celebrating a birthday, and it turned out wonderfully. Will be back, of course!

Great service and food on a Monday night. It would be nice if they would customize your baked potato at the table like at the Original Bob's on Lemmon. Avenue.

Caesar salad was just okay. Our Medium+ filets were burnt, but the baked potatoes and bread were good. The ambience was nice but it was hard to hear once the restaurant filled up. Service was okay. We were overall disappointed, primarily due to the burnt steaks.

Incredible food! Our server Eddie is so attentive and did not make one mistake all evening. Very pleasant and knowledgable about their menu. We go to this Plano location for almost all special occasions. Super nice owner and staff.

A tribute to Silvio, Jessica, John and the entire team at Bob's which is the best steak house in Texas. We'll miss Silvio and wish him a wonderful retirement knowing the best is yet to come!

Bob's is ALWAYS amazing. Amine was our waiter the the second time & he is absolutely AMAZING above and beyond the best waiter we've ever had. He anticipates everything & is such a thoughtful individual. Our sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. Great birthday dinner. Always our favorite

This is our go-to restaurant for the most special events--major birthdays, anniversaries,. graduations, etc. Eddie waited on us and Nicholas provided excellent suggestions for the wine. Both were amazing! My wife had the filet and I had the bone-in ribeye--both totally awesome! We had one disappointment at Bob's in the many, many years we have been coming here, but I complained about the steak and immediately it was replaced. We couldn't be more pleased!

I hosted an eight-person midweek business dinner at Bob's. I've dined at Bob's for ages, although usually at the Dallas location. The Plano location was an exceptional experience. We arrived 30 minutes early and enjoyed the bar area prior to our reservation. The bar staff was efficient and our beverages were well prepared. Our seating arrangement was well-suited for our party. Our waiter spoke with us to understand the nature of our gathering, which was helpful as he kept his tone appropriate for our group. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. The lobster bisque, as always, was a hit - even with the New York-based members of our entourage. The salads also were pleasing. The group found the steaks, particularly the filet mignon, to be exceptional in size and in taste. The meal was a success even with the most seasoned travelers. Thank you, Bob's, for making this evening simple and delicious.

Had a great meal and wonderful service. We asked for a quiet area and we're in the back room. It was extremely enjoyable.

Amazing place to eat! Server was great and the server from a previous visit stopped by the table to say hi. The food was exceptional, but you'd better come hungry!

Started off with a drink at the bar, and the service and drinks were fantastic. Once we sat down, our waiter was very attentive full of energy. The Bone-in KC Strip and Filet were fantastic. When making our reservation, I noted we were celebrating a special occasion and our waiter called it out as soon as we sat down and offered us a complimentary dessert (Key Lime pie), which was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience!!!
