Bob's Steak & Chop House

My wife and I enjoy dinning at Bob's Plano 5 times a year for annual special occasions. Our most recent visit we celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. Great experience as always.

Ask for Cesar. Always the best service in town. My husband and I have enjoyed the luxury of visiting many fine dining restaurants around the country and Bob's Plano is in our top 3. From the bartenders to the hosts to servers to the table helpers, it's obvious they have been thoroughly trained and the minor details are never overlooked. And the steak menu is one of our top 2 favorites in the metroplex. Thanks for making my Dad's birthday such a special occasion. Can't wait for the next visit.

Not the most desirable experience. I had such a great time when I dined previously at the bar however I came back to celebrate my birthday in the dining room and the experience was not the best. Our server just did the bare minimum of requirements for the table. The gentleman serving the table next to us was overly communicative. I didn't get to enjoy my conversation with my family bc the server next to us was loud & talking unnecessarily. A mgr stopped my the table and interrupted our conversation again to simply just say hello and walk away as if it was mandatory that she stop by but really didn't want to. The gentleman or host at the front when we checked in came from around the stand to observe me and my family and specifically commented on my teenage daughter's attire and said she was beautiful. That was awkward as well and made us uncomfortable. The food wasn't as good as last time but still okay. Finally dessert was offered and my son wanted vanilla ice cream, the server offered to top it with chocolate he said okay and no where on the menu does it say that dessert contains nuts however he was served nuts and of course he's allergic. No mgr acknowledged that after it was brought to our servers attention. I can't say I'm excited to return. Wish I would have spent my birthday elsewhere.

Bought the Wagyu Ribeye after the waiter informed me it was of A4 grade, but it was far from that. The steak was burnt on the edge and tasted like a bad griddle, but the worst part is that we ordered it medium and the steak was tough and tasted worse than a prime ribeyes I get at the other steakhouses at the shops.

Bob's is always excellent. The steaks are outstanding and so is the service. Highly recommend

Bob's is first class. The service is exceptional and the food is always cooked to perfection. It was my husbands birthday and they made us feel special.

I had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday. The manager personally gave us a great booth and made her day special! I will be back for sure!! Wonderful food and fabulous service.

I can't say this enough. THE BEST DIRTY MARTINI!! Best steals and the best service in the Dallas area. It's better than the downtown location.

The food is consistently good, but what made our evening outstanding is the service we received from our waiter, Abel, and Sommelier, Nicolas. Nicolas was extremely knowledgeable in helping us select a great wine to complement our delicious Wagu Filets. Of all Bob's Steak & Chop Houses, the Plano location is the best for ambience and service.

Just when I think it can't get any better, I have a night like tonight. The service, the food, and the wine was as great as I've ever had. Thanks guys!!!

The food and the service was top-notch. We were seated in one of the back rooms which is much quieter than the main area near the bar, which was nice. Our server, Darrin, has a great personality and sense of humor, which added to our enjoyment of the evening.

Excellent service, superb food, but noise level was awful! Next time we'll ask to be seated in a different area-main dining area you could hardly have a conversation and we went early!

We chose to go to Bob's for a birthday celebration. We were well attended, and our experience was fantastic. Thank you to the General Manager, the sommelier, and our server for helping to create a beautiful memory!
