10/10 recommend this restaurant . I will try more items but the Jollof rice was nice and spicy and cooked to perfection and the beef suited this dish well along with the seasoning on top and red onion .. so yummy . This is my first time and they did not disappoint . The pineapple/ginger drink was super refreshing and very fresh .

Customer service is terrible. There is no sense of urgency with this place. I called before getting to the store and I was place on hold for 15 minutes and just drove to the store to place my order. Even with that I had to wait a good 45 minutes before I got my meal. I got to the store at 6:06 and didn’t leave until 6:56. They kept saying 5 minutes each time.

Today was my first time here and I ordered puff puff since that’s what I was craving. They were perfectly shaped which got me excited to eat them, but upon taking a bite, I could tell they were fried in old oil… especially oil that was used to fry something that has meat inside. I wasn’t too pleased with the taste at all. Plus that weird taste was making me nauseous.

Updated review: the owner was very gracious to call me and redo the order for me and she added extras. That was very nice of her and unexpected.

Ordered online and I still had to wait 30 minutes after I arrived to receive food. Order was supposed to be ready at 2:01pm but didn’t get it until 2:45. I understand things can happen and delays can occur but once I arrived home the order was wrong and the food wasn’t even warm.

We recently had a work event and decided to forgo the usual route and try catering from Box O’ Chops. It was a fantastic decision! From the very first contact, Box O’ Chops impressed us. Their catering team was incredibly professional and helpful, working with us to create a menu that fit our budget and dietary restrictions.

On the day of the event, the food arrived fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly on time. The portions were generous, and more importantly, delicious! We ordered the jollof rice, stewed chicken and plantains. Everyone at the event raved about the food, with particular compliments going to the jollof rice.

Box O’ Chops made our work event a real success. Their food was amazing, their service was top-notch, and they helped us create a memorable experience for everyone involved. We will definitely be using them again for future events, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic caterer!

The lady at the store was lovely. I live a bit over 1 hour away and was excited to order the fish roll as I had had it a year prior and it tasted authentic. However, after ordering 12 fish rolls, I discovered the recipe had changed. It was a lot sweeter. I could still taste a bit of the old recipe but it’s not the same. It was not worth the drive.

This place is fantastic. The customer service was phenomenal and the food was very flavorful and delicious. I heard of this place while randomly speaking with one of their customers at another restaurant. She suggested the gizzards so I decided to try them out. I went on a Saturday and ordered 2. I returned Sunday and ordered 8-10. The sista at the front counter was very friendly and offered puff puff and they were delicious as well. I have referred many of my associates and they have returned for the service and food. I am now a repeat customer.

Phenomenal! 5 stars across the board! The service was super friendly and helpful! Only a few tables so perfect for lunch with a friend or take out for the whole family. The food was SO wonderful that after I ate my meal, I had to get a whole other order to go.

Vegetarian options: There are a few different options, but I did have to ask which were veggie friendly.
