Had the delivered to my home by my amazing company after my neck surgery . The potatoe salad tasted sour . The chopped brisket had no flavor the sliced brisket was tough the only thing good was the mac and cheese. Worst food I have had and I don’t leave bad reviews . The sweet tea and lemonade was good in half gallon jugs. Banana pudding was yummy. Overall horrible experience and threw 3/4 of it out it was just horrible

Customer service is awful. We placed a small group order on the website for lunch. Went to pick up at the expected time and they hadn't even pulled the order let alone started making it. Waited for order to be completed and store confirmed everything in bag. 2 orders completely missing and the food was cold. It is less than 3 miles from the office. Called store regarding missing items and the hassle of having to come back in and pick the food up and the associate just hung up the phone. Called back and they wouldn't even answer

Burnt BBQ & Tacos offers a flavorful fusion of barbecue and Venezuelan dishes. Highlights include the brisket, wings, street corn, and lamb stew—all delicious! The Venezuelan lemonade is a refreshing drink. Haven't tried the tacos yet, but we enjoyed the brisket baked potato and brisket arepas. While the brisket was flavorful, it can lean toward dryness, so opt for the fatty or mixed cut if you prefer a moist texture. Overall, a great spot!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options include all meats & some sides

Food was great but as soon as I got home I threw everything up. The food mostly consisted of pork ends.

I ordered carry out. Honestly, this a solid choice for BBQ in the area. Not the best but very good. I really loved the chicken, the crust was very salty but I enjoyed the citrus flavor. Not sure if they brined the chicken but it was unbelievably juicy...very moist. The next best item were the ribs which were cooked perfectly and nicely smoked. I found the brisket to be dry and the sausage wasn't good to me. The coleslaw was very good as was the potato salad. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would come back. Everything was nicely packed for carryout as well which I appreciate.

Order a meal/plate to go! Was expecting company & asking for good bbq place to eat! Since this was cl8se by I order meal. Got half order was missing, didn't want to drive back up there while meal would get cold. Took 20 mins of calling, promised to refund for missing food & free dessert when place family order! Never received my refund ask again few days later didn't remember the conversation! Advised I could get discount on next order, so lied, screwed up the order & never gave the refund, why on earth would order a big order when screw up a single plate. Never been back!

Run, don't walk, to Burnt BBQ & Tacos. I stopped by this place on a recent trip to Dallas, given the positive reviews of the Navajo Fry Bread Taco. Let's just say that the trek to Plano was absolutely worth it (get the taco with burnt ends!). Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were huge (several customers gawked at the size of my dish when it came out), and the prices were more than reasonable.

Normally, the taco alone would have satiated me, but because I hadn't eaten all day, I ordered the fry bread dessert to top off the meal, which was ?% the right decision.

The best part, though, was getting a chance to chat with Chef Tim, the owner of the restaurant, who told me a bit about his story, notably bringing his Montanan (and his wife's Venezuelan) roots to the menu. The result is a robust and wonderfully diverse selection of dishes made with care. Chef Tim personally serves each of the customers, adding a sense of warmth and genuine connection to the dining experience.

My friends will tell you that it is rare for me to fawn over an eating establishment. But when you find a local restaurant that genuinely cares about its customer's experience, you sense it right away.

Thank you, Chef Tim, for a wonderful dinner. I will be back on my next trip to Dallas!

Burnt is some amazing barbecue especially considering pretty reasonable prices! We ordered the $45 Burnt sampler platter which is 1/4lb of each: Coffee Grind Smoked Brisket, Roasted Garlic Pulled Pork, Pork Burnt Ends, Poblano Sausage, Citrus Brined Turkey, 3 St. Louis Style Ribs, 3 sides and they gave us plenty of extra sauce and extra Texas toast! Honestly, everything was great! I loved their sauce although it has a little more spiciness than some would prefer so it would be nice if they also had a milder option. Super nice and friendly people and highly recommend!
