BEST CAKE I’VE EVER HAD!I was searching for a vintage heart cake in the Dallas area for my sister’s bridal shower and stumbled upon Butterfly Cakery. I hadn’t tried their cakes before and was blindly ordering from out of town. I decided to take a chance and boy oh boy– it was worth it!We chose a strawberries & cream cake– we got soooo many compliments on it. The cake was fresh, soft, and didn’t taste like artificial strawberries. It was perfect! Plus, we could smell fresh strawberries the entire car ride after we picked it up! ?When we picked the cake up, they were so helpful and kind. They even helped carry it to our car. I would order from them again in a heartbeat. 10/10 ?If you’re trying to decide whether or not to order from Butterfly Cakery, I would recommend doing so asap!

First time customer and I’ll be sure to go back! Got my moms birthday cake here and she loved it. Tasty and looked just like the picture of what I wanted it to look like! My mom cake has the gold topper. The cake I wanted them to copy has the silver topper. The size wasn’t the exact same (in height) but that was no problem at all. It was more than enough cake for us to have seconds! I’ll be returning to try those cupcakes next!

Cake design and service was amazing, however our cake was extremely dry and tough to chew… almost as if an ingredient was left out in the baking process. Not sure how many days old the cake was, but it definitely didn’t taste fresh. We got snickerdoodle flavor with coffee mousse- I regret not doing a taste test before hand because had I tasted this cake before I would not have gotten it, and served it to our guests. It was good for pictures at least.

I am still obsessed with our wedding cake from Butterfly Cakery! They completely nailed my cake vision and were so easy to deal with. The cake was stunning and I got so many compliments on not only how it looked but also how it tasted. We got the following flavors: almond (I’m obsessed with this one), champagne, and strawberry. I cannot wait till its our one year, so I can get our anniversary tier and enjoy the flavor all over again. Also, the cake stayed fresh for so long. We had leftovers, which I left with my family to eat while we were on our honeymoon. There was still some left when we got back and it was still as fresh as it was on our wedding day. Cannot thank Butterfly Cakery enough!!

Tasked with picking up a cookie cake for a wedding. We requested some spare icing in case of touchups as a result of transport, but Butterfly Cakery refused our request. Fortunately the cake arrived unharmed and wasn't edible anyway. We didn't need any icing.Cake was harder than a biscotti. No one could even eat this pile of concrete. My guess is that their cookie recipe doesn't scale well into something this large and they have never tested that recipe.Top tip, avoid a three tier cookie cake for weddings.$300 table ornament. Bring a reciprocating saw.

Really really terrible service. Don’t use them for your wedding cake. I placed an order for a wedding anniversary cake and when I called to pick it up I was told the order was never placed. When I called again a few days later to re-place the order as this was already paid for, I was told my cake was baked and nobody picked it up and I had to pay again if I wanted a cake. And they started insinuating that I was lying. Just horrible! There’s much better competition and the hassle for this mid-cake is not worth it
