Great Turkish food. The grilled platter is a must try. The appetizers are awesome. Staff is excellent and ready to make your visit the best possible. The bread is brought out hot.

Great place for Turkish food. Only complain is that they should have more vegeteriam entre choices. Highly recommend the dolmas, and phyllo filled with Turkish feta. Felafel are crispy and tasty as well.

Cafe Istanbul is one of my favorite spots in the Legacy area! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the presentation is beautiful every time. The architecture and atmosphere are really cool—modern but with authentic touches that make it feel special. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and consistent on every visit. I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend Cafe Istanbul to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Plano. Five stars all the way!

We've been going to Cafe Istanbul for years and typically for birthdays or out-of-town guests. We always get the same thing, the mixed grill for two. It's always been good but last night it was incredible. As a result, we're putting Cafe Istanbul into a monthly rotation. Life's too short to only go a few times a year.

Had blocked this place in Legacy west, a popular place in Plano for a party of 12. Disappointed with cold food… dry chicken and really really slow service. When we shared that the entire order was cold, the host chose to bring dessert… as opposed to fix it in a meaningful way.

The food was excellent. The service was great, and our night was made memorable especially thanks to our host Pavel.
Food and service on point. Loved every bite of meat and the fresh bread was addictive. They had it on a tray for everyone to grab a fresh made piece. The tzatziki was a little Bit runny, but didn’t mind. It made for pouring into the fresh bread on top of the pickled veggies and onions. Such great flavor with the meat variety and different combos. The chicken wasn’t dry and very tender. The flavors of the gyro meat were wonderful. The rice also didn’t lack any flavor and complemented the meat and veggies as well. 10/10! Will be back again. :)

The other day, my husband and I went to the Istanbul café for lunch, and I can tell you that in all my years in the US, I have never eaten such delicious food. We ordered a mix of shashlik, kebab, and other meat dishes. It was simply magnificent. Cheers to the chef!
