This place was a bit of a mixed bag for our date evening.
I loved the atmosphere immediately on entering. Dark, relaxed, and warm and smelling of Italian food on a cold night.
We were served a very generous portion of French bread slices with free refills. We tried the artichoke hearts and while they were obviously pickled, the butter and breadcrumbs they were served with were very nice.
Onto the main food, I got veal piccata...

The pizza here is so unique. It is a style unto it's own. Great pasta, and fast service. Does not have the atmosphere of the original, but great place to gather with friends and family... and it doesn't break the bank!

Now the bad, the only food we had that was above mediocre was the artichoke heart appetizer we ordered. It was all downhill after that. I ordered the pasta combo plate and my partner ordered the veal picatta. The veal was cooked well, but the sauce just wasn't very good, it tasted solely...
