There aren't a lot of Captain D's restaurants in DFW, so getting to one is a 30 min - 1 hour drive.
That being said, whenever I come to my nearest one (the Plano location) the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! They also give you coupons with every order which I absolutely love!

This place has nice owner and employees and I always get the lemon pepper salmon and shrimp skewer, & veggies are usually great. ** Tonight, though, I will add… the green beans were quite too salty for my liking, so I couldn’t eat but a couple of small bites. They should scale back THE SALT for the beans.
Sometimes, also……. the coleslaw is a little… strange…. But most of the time, it’s good.
