Had high hopes for this place based on the 4.7 star rating. Not sure if these are fake reviews or what. This was some of the worst sushi I have ever eaten. We intended to dine in, but the place definitely wasn’t a dine in experience. It literally had two tables, one tiny one and another which had dirty plates on it. There was one guy who manned the phone and one guy (the chef) frying around the corner. The whole place smelled of fried oil, and was super tiny. The environment and smell made us decide to take it to go. Plus no one greeted us or helped us after standing there for several minutes.

First off, the pictures and presentation on these reviews look nothing like what we got. No flowers, noodles, or fancy presentation. Just some super sad, spare looking rolls thrown in a styrofoam container. Not even the minimal ginger and wasabi we get at almost every place (you know, the one with the fake grass divider). The salmon roll I got had the thinnest and shortest slice of salmon, the cucumber slices in had the seeds intact, the tempura had old tasting shrimp surrounded by gummy, way undercooked batter. The salad that came with the meal was some crummy old iceberg lettuce with chopped up not ripe tomatoes. The presentation was as bad as it tasted.

Major misrepresentation from these reviews and pics. I call BS. This was by far the worst sushi I’ve ever had with an even higher price tag than most places. Even grocery store sushi is better. Ended up just throwing it in the trash.

Food was presented in a beautiful style, pleasant small shop that offers top quality sushi. Priced just right. Recommend coming to try the baked rolls, fresh rolls and tuna tower!

Visited on Saturday afternoon; super cozy spot with a chill vibe and good music. I had the Crunch Cali and really enjoyed it. Definitely coming back to try something else!

This experience was beyond great! The service was A1, the server was kind and the sushi chef even came out to greet us and see how the food was. And the food was very good. We got the tri sushi platter, a 24 piece entree consisting over yellowtail, salmon, and tuna. The quality and the flavor of the fish was superb. The yellowtail was buttery, salmon was sweet, and tuna was savory; all were light and no fishy-ness at all. The presentation of the fish was amazing, it included a orange carved into a teddy bear, which was so cute and added a nice palette cleanser in-between bites. The restaurant is very small but was clean and quaintly decorated. This is my new favorite sushi spot! A must try for anyone looking for good quality, great service, and comforting atmosphere at a reasonable price.

ODA Sushi absolutely deserves five stars! I’ve tried all the rolls and the miso soup, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor — you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. Each roll has its own unique touch, and every bite tastes just right.

The miso soup was rich and comforting, perfectly balanced, and a great way to start the meal. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and attentive, always making sure you’re taken care of.

ODA Sushi has easily become one of my favorite sushi spots — consistent quality, great service, and excellent food every time. Five stars without question!

This intimate restaurant seemingly owned and worked by local owners are bringing what I would describe as one of Dallas's best Sushi. This is a must have. The staff is extremely kind and positive and the food...if you came with prayers then this place answers.

ODA is our favorite sushi takeout spot! The service is always so friendly and the food is fresh. They make a limited ingredient menu of rolls and all that I’ve tried are delicious, fresh and big! Favorites of ours is the seared salmon nigiri, the Amazing roll, Eileen roll, Orange roll, Pink Sweet roll, Dragon roll, Caterpillar roll, Moonlight roll & Tiger roll. ODA is truly a take-out spot, despite a few tables available to customers. Seating can be cramped and sometimes the deep fryer makes being inside less pleasant. However for easy take-home, this is your place. There’s always plenty of parking and the location is very convenient.

There is limited seating for dine-in, so plan for that if you want to eat there. But the food is amazing! If I lived closer, I would eat here often. Their lunch and dinner combos offer a lot of food for a great price!

Mainly for takeout- tiny dining area. Sushi rice was stale, way too much imitation crab meat. Way too much single use plastic containers and Styrofoam for a sit-down meal.

Quaint hole in the wall sushi joint. Sushi rolls were absolutely fantastic! Not a ton of drink options and no alcohol. Also, it’s very small, only 2 tables and 2 bar style seating areas for 3. If alone or with a small group, no problem unless they are busy. Food and service make this a 4 though!
