Terrible establishment, terrible manager/owner, terrible workers. A bit before closing, my friends and I were getting ready to leave when a clearly inebriated man had walked into the restaurant and headed straight for us. He started asking us of our races and ethnicities, and constantly was reaching into his pocket for something as he was talking to us during this whole ordeal.
During this time, we had told the cashier to call 911 and he told us he did. Turns out he lied and did not until it was too late. Why the restaurant workers had left it to their customers to diffuse an obviously hostile situation is honestly astonishing, and shows that the restaurant does not care for the safety of whoever is in the establishment except for themselves.
At one point, the workers had even had left us! Walking outside through the backdoor and on the phone to whom I assume is the Indian owner. Ten or so minutes later, the most useless security guard came, escorted the man out of the restaurant but left him outside as she walked back into her truck and sat there.
Now, the man is blocking our exit and trying to get in, pointing at us and talking, wanting to fight. We could have locked the doors but you guessed it, the restaurant doesn't have any locks. Imagine that! So it was up to us again, not the restaurant or the workers, to hold in the doors while he is trying to get in. One of the workers finally calls the police, 20-30 minutes after we told him to do so.
Thankfully, Frisco PD came quickly and handled the situation. The funny thing was that even after the police came, the workers asked US to escort THEM out of the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous. We were this close to getting hate crimed, but they were still only concerned for themselves.
Don't come here, don't eat here, they don't care about you

Terrible experience. I asked the server twice in phone if the mango shake had real fresh mangoes and yet we get mango shakes made out of Mango icecream. $8 a cup. Horrible. Should be ashamed of lying to customer when I shared this is the first time I’m visiting them. Trashy service and trashy ownership to have trained their managers to lie to customers.

Food is absolutely terrible. Very cold and stale. Only the fries that came with sandwich looked half decent. Ambience is nice but this place needs to focus on the food they serve.

A good place to hang-out for midnight Chai ☕️.
They are open till 1AM so we can always come here after dinner.
The interiors are so aesthetically done up and it’s a sight to watch.

By the name I was thinking this will be a kind of street food type of ambience but was surprised to see as a well decorated place to hang around. The atmosphere was friendly and variety of tea offerings was awesome, best Irani chai I had in a long time, the size of the cup was very satisfying.

I recently tried the Chapli Paratha Burger at Chaiwallah, and it was an absolute game-changer. The chapli kabob itself was bursting with flavour, juicy, well-spiced, and cooked to perfection. Instead of the usual bun, the crispy paratha gave it a unique twist, adding both texture and richness that elevated the whole experience.
The combination of tangy sauces, fresh veggies, and the savory kabob between inside the warm paratha made every bite unforgettable and definitely something you won’t find at a typical burger spot. The portion was generous too, making it great value for the price.

When it first opened, we loved the ambiance and quality of food. It was uniquely decorated which added to its charm. However after going again recently, I found the upkeep of the lounge lacking. Even though the menu has expanded and food and drinks were great.

This is a gorgeous place to eat some gourmet food. We had two preparations which were out of the world👍: one was Peshwari Mutton and other a Chicken Malai Koftas. We loved both and will go again to eat them. We spoke w the person behind the restaurant..she’s a fantastic woman who said she’s passionate about her food and single-handedly manage the cooking, in fact, the whole restaurant. You can sense the passion in the environment, I bet! Go have an experience of lifetime at Chaiwala❤️

Went for tea last night, the atmosphere was well decorated. 🤩🥳🥰 However, it was a little hot there. 🥵🌡️🔥
Tried their Kashmiri Tea, Kadak & Irani Tea. ☕🍵🫖 It was not freshly made with an average taste, not what I expected 😒😐😕

My experience was horrible. Food is terrible. The place is dirty. Owner is rude and doesn’t take criticism well. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Paid $5 for tea and asked for an empty cup but was told no. The tea was good, but the service was poor.
