Avoid This Location for Mobile Orders, Especially if You’re on a Tight Lunch Break
I’ve always had great experiences with Chick-fil-A mobile orders—until now. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t offer the same convenience as others. Their mobile order process is poorly organized, with no designated parking spots for quick pick-up. The area is blocked off with cones, and unless you’re an Uber driver, you’re forced to wait in the drive-thru line, defeating the purpose of ordering ahead.
When I asked an employee (Mike) directing traffic where to pick up my mobile order, he rudely told me, “You still have to get in line.” His attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, assuming I was familiar with their setup. After 15 minutes in the drive-thru, my food was cold and the experience frustrating.
Chick-fil-A typically excels at customer service, but this location could learn from others—like McKinney, where they have pull-up spots for mobile orders. If you’re short on time, skip this Chick-fil-A. The Whataburger across the street will have your food hot and ready in under 5 minutes with designated mobile pick-up parking.
I wouldn’t normally leave a review, but Mike’s poor attitude and lack of service were disappointing. This was a letdown for a brand I’ve always trusted.
I order through the app any time I eat at chicfila and usually never come to this location, and won’t be back because what’s the point of ordering through the app if I still have to wait in the long line that’s wrapped around the building….? Then on top of that they gave me a root beer instead of a Coke Zero. Beyond frustrated with this experience. Literally want a refund for my drink and nobody can even answer the phone.

This experience is based on doordash. It won't let me get more than 2 dressings for my salad. And there's no option to add extra anywhere else and no special instructions allowed to even ask for it. For this reason I always wind up passing up a chick fil a purchase on dd.

Unfortunately this location is subpar to every other location I’ve visited when it comes to speed and efficiency. Particularly on busy weekday mornings they keep one lane open for mobile orders which is NEVER used (maybe one car) while the other lane is 8-9 cars deep. It takes twice as long as it should. Plus, because it is one line if someone at the front has a huge order everyone else has to wait with their food getting cold in the car because the front car is blocking everyone else from being able to exit the line when their food is handed to them. Very inefficient. Whoever is managing this location needs to work it better for busy mornings. Mobile should be a separate area for pickup like other locations utilize to great success.

What is wrong with this Chick-fil-A? Ice-cream is consistently an outlier when compared to other Chick-fil-A franchises in the area. I’ve had consistent quality icecream at numerous busy Chick-fil-A throughout Plano. This location-workers state it’s their machine & it needs to be cleaned or serviced. This tells me that they are aware of this problem. Employees can’t help that their owner isn’t keeping up with standards.
