I have been going to this Chuys for over 4 years. Over the last year or 2 they have steadily gotten worst. I am not sure if it is due to the buyout / acquisition or if the staff is indifferent since it is a busy location but the food isn't the same.
They have smaller portions, the prices have gone up, the quality isn't as high, and multiple times I have received food cooked rare or burnt (or expired?) items. The first time it happened I didn't think much of it since things happen, I would just eat around it. But now this happens more often than not.
The last time I went the food was late, cold and they came out with the check for me to add an extra tip even though I already tipped via their website.
I have given them multiple chances this year but I think I am done. If you love Chuy's go to another location. This isn't worth the inconvenience.

I usually order the 3 crispy chicken taco plater at the Addison restaurant which is amazing but this time we came here and I have to say I was really disappointed. It took about 15 minutes to get our drink order. My chicken was (not shredded like it should have been) and to make matters worse, my chicken was in large thick slices and was (ice cold). My son felt it and agreed that was definitely COLD. Who wants to bite in to a cold chicken taco while fighting to bite between the large thick slices of chicken. (Not I) I told our waitress and she apologized and said she will have another plate made and will make sure it's not cold. I don't know why but the second plate was just like the first. Cold! I did not want to upset my son. I did not want to ruin his dinner so I just said yes it's fine and pretty much just polished off my beans and rice. Filled myself up on 2 diet coke's. The waitress was wonderful and was very apologic and took my tacos off the bill for having a bad experience. We won't return to that particular restaurant again. If the cook could not get it right the second time around, you will not get a third chance with a order from me again.

The food and drinks were good as usual. Our service was awesome but the salsa needs work! The huge chunks of tomatoes are not ideal with the thin chips given, it was extremely watered down as well.

Had a fantastic experience here. The food and drinks were flavorful, fresh, and exceeded expectations. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated how they willingly customized dishes to suit my preferences. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience very enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would love to visit again!
