Don’t order for delivery!! I ordered over 2 hours ago and still don’t have my food! When I ordered they told me the arrival time would be 6:34 pm. It’s 7:27 pm and I just had to cancel because the driver told me they might be 10 minutes more. They’ve been saying that. The restaurant takes the orders they can’t fulfill! Super irritating! They make excuses that they’re short staff. Then don’t take more orders than you can fulfill!

We ordered their spicy chicken teriyaki thinking it was just going to be like their regular chicken teriyaki. But it was something completely different and didn’t taste like teriyaki. Had to go back to the restaurant and they remade us a regular chicken teriyaki. My frustration (besides having to go back to get an order fixed) is that there really isn’t a way to know that this is not really teriyaki. They don’t have pictures on their website showing what the food looked like. If I had known, we wouldn’t have ordered this.
I am grateful that they did replace the order for us. Their regular chicken teriyaki is 5/5!

(Re-review 1/4/2026 - 1 Star) I have to downgrade my review of Densetsu due to lack of consistency and quality. I have been coming here many, many times over the years and this last year has been the hardest. I have gotten the Ahi Tower nearly every time I come and every single time I seem to get a presented a different dish. There have been times that the spicy tuna was way too spicy, some strange taste from micro greens, different sauce drizzling that changes the flavor profile, portion of crab noticably small, or the tuna just not being as good as it should be. But this last visit will be my last until they resolve the quality and consistency issues. My most recent visit the Ahi Tower had a complete absence of spicy tuna and was drenched in a dark sauce that was just too over powering and had a foul taste to it. If management addresses the issues and wants me to return please reach out and I would love you become a loyal customer again.
(Original review from 2014 - 5 Stars) This place is awesome!!! The sushi is top quality and the sushi servings are big and worth the price. The Ahi tower is to die for. Their cooked entries are great too. Go early to miss the wait and goto their website to get on the wait list for dinner, now. No really, tonight! Go.

I liked the food and they served generous portions It is a nice, casual spot with a great atmosphere, making it a perfect neighborhood gem for anyone looking to try quality Japanese cuisine. We tried the Angry John roll, Tiger roll, California roll along with Miso soup, tempura shrimp and Edamame. At the end they gave us peeled oranges which was nice.
I went online to order and normally you can pick the time you wanted to pick up, the only option was asap, so I picked, I got there 15 min later and they said it’s 30 min wait.

Best sushi in Plano/Frisco/Allen/Mckinney area! We always get very tasty, fresh rolls here. The staff is friendly and humble. We ordered Miso soup, California rolls, Avocado rolls, Vegetarian rolls, tuna rolls, spicy teriyaki Bento box etc. everything tasted amazing.

Super yummy! We've ordered 3 times and all 3 times were great! I dont know the names of the sushi we ordered but it has lemons on top The miso soup was also good The teriyaki kids meal was great as an adult portion as well
