I might have given this place 5 stars, but it’s definitely not hygienic. The plates and bowls were not clean. They close at 9 PM and we went there around 8:30 PM, so they were about to shut down. The guy at the counter told us we only had half an hour and we said that was fine. They have a large buffet, and the food was excellent we really loved it. I personally love Mediterranean food it’s one of my favorites. But I was shocked to see a guy taking food with his bare hands, without gloves, and eating dessert right in front of me while touching everything around. I was watching him and he clearly didn’t care. That really put me off. I left my plate and told my friends I was too disappointed to continue. This place seriously needs to take better care of hygiene. I like the food here, but this experience was very disappointing this time!!!!

Good food selection for a reasonable price. A great place to stop at when out of town guests want a variety of fresh food.

We were there tonight for iftar. We literally left without getting full becuase of insufficient amount of food. I am not sure if this is its normal. My daughter even didn’t get piece of chicken. We wasted our money and time there.

I’m a usual customer. Today I brought a child with me and paid for the child (in total— 1 adult and 1 child was $36) The child barely ate from their plate, so I asked for a to-go box. The Asian lady at the front desk gave me the to-go box, as I started putting the child’s remaining food in the to-go box (the remains on their plate), the Asian lady came running towards me and asking me to pay for the to go box (the price of an additional meal). I explained that this is the left over and if I leave, that food will go in the garbage. She said “it doesn’t matter, that’s the rule— if I want to take the left over, I have to pay” when I didn’t budge, she got her manager, who allowed me to take the left-overs in the box.

The entire experience was so unsettling because I was literally trying to avoid wasting food and the Asian lady who works there was extremely unreasonable. The restaurant was going to throw the leftovers anyways, so they’re not losing money.

Sadly, I don’t ever want to come back, nor will I recommend this place to others anymore. Their policy about leftovers and waste doesn’t sit right with me and I feel extremely disappointed in the entire service that I and the child experienced.

If you want Mediterranean food there are many, many, better options in the area.

I came here once when it was still Cedar’s and both then and now - the meat was all overcooked to the point of being dry, the veggies were undercooked and not seasoned well, the baklawa was on the cusp of being burnt and was drenched with syrup (I assume it was to try and hide the burnt taste) the service wasn’t good at all either.
