First time here, service was great, friendly attentive waiter and host even though it was busy. Portion of noodles was more than enough for me, and had plenty of protein in it, and soup dumplings were ok. It was my first time eating Singapore rice noodles and I really enjoyed it. very flavorful especially with chili sauce. Definitely better than typical Americanized Chinese food, definitely worth it. I’d rerun to try out some of the other dishes for sure.

Had this place on my list for a while and I’m glad I finally got to try it. We got the sizzling beef with black pepper sauce, the braised beef noodle soup, and an order of traditional soup dumplings.
The braised beef noodle soup was good. The beef was very tender, and had a lot of flavor.
The sizzling beef with black pepper sauce also had tons of flavor. The portion size was quite big, and it was enough for 2 people. It had green peas, mushrooms, and bell peppers and tasted great.
The soup dumplings were ok. Not much soup within the dumplings, but it was flavorful.

The food was amazing. The service was great. But the place is freezing cold. It was like they didn't have heat.

I didn’t think the pork & cabbage (pot stickers) had much flavor. We got the popcorn chicken & fried rice for my daughter. Wifey got Szechuan beef. She said it was ok. She wouldn’t order again. Son got a lunch special with shrimp but it came with chicken. He said it was ok too. I got sesame chicken. Chicken was hard like it was old then deep fried. I would never eat here again. I really wanted to like it.

The food here was excellent! The steamed bao buns were just like the ones I have eaten in China! So good! We also had several other dishes (beef lo mein, beef pancakes, fried dumplings, orange chicken & crispy green beans) and all were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Enjoyed this meal a lot. The beef dumplings in a beef broth were excellent as were the beef and green onion pancakes. Reminded me of my years in China. I tired the Mala soup dumplings- soup dumplings are one of my favorites. Unfortunately there was almost no soup. Maybe a couple of drops is all. They were basically normal and a little juicy. I may try the regular soup dumplings next time and hopefully better. Flat noodles with beef were.excellent too. I'll be back at some point. Provecho

Great dumpling spot. Don’t recommend the lunch menu, which is too americanized. But their pot stickers and xiao long bao were good! XLB dough could be a bit thinner and less sticky. But can still fully recommend!
One of my favorite spots in Plano! Dumpling House serves some of the best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in the area. The pork and chive dumplings are my absolute favorite — perfectly juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of chew. The green onion pancakes are crispy and fragrant, the hot and sour soup is rich with depth and comfort, and the beef lo mein instantly brings back the kind of nostalgia that only true home-style cooking can deliver.
The restaurant itself looks fantastic — clean, warm, and tastefully decorated with an inviting atmosphere that feels both modern and traditional. I recently brought a few friends from abroad who had surprisingly never tried Chinese food before, and the owner and waitress went above and beyond to help with recommendations and accommodations. They were incredibly patient and kind, making the whole experience memorable for everyone.
Prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get, and it’s an excellent spot for larger groups or casual gatherings. Whether you’re new to Chinese cuisine or just looking for a great place to revisit comforting flavors, Dumpling House is a must-try.

Very Disappointing Experience
My experience here was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was dark and nearly empty, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere right from the start. The service was poor—the staff looked unhappy and unmotivated, and one server was dressed unprofessionally in a crop top. They even served lemonade in bottles from Walmart, which felt very low quality for the prices they charge. We had to ask for chopsticks ourselves, and the food completely lacked flavor. Overall, the meal was far too expensive for what we received. I would not recommend this place.

Great hidden local gem. They updated the decor but the booth seats are still uncomfortable. But the food is great!
They really stand out with their non-western menu dishes. The vegetable dishes are really amazing, and of course the soup dumplings are the go to.
