The owner, John, amazing guy, his staff is awesome too! The whole family ambiance provides a great experience. The food is delicious and super filling!

I recommend the arroz con pollo, but be warned it’s a lot of food. I’m a big guy and can’t finish it most days. The Texas Margarita is the best one to get or the strawberry caprinha is the best cocktail to get here.

If you need a pick me up a cafe con leche is fire!

My pork chop was pink my tostones are very dry and old. This is supposed to be a top rated place and it’s horrible. Never will I order again.i want real authentic food not this plate of crap.

First time visiting this small restaurant. Their menu is a mix of caribbean and mexican cuisine. The fried plantains and yuca fries are good and crunchy and the portions on dinner dishes are adequate for the price. A little smaller than i expected inside. All tables are packed in so you can easily hear everyone’s conversations. But overall a good neighborhood bristo to experience some latin food.

So I'm pissed off because I came in for a pick-up order of empanadas and a relatively young guy looked at me and asked me "can I help you"...felt like I wasn't supposed to be there the way he addressed that.....wrong greeting pal. It should always be welcome to "ur restaurant name here"....smh. that's the first sign. I got my food and my plain ice water drink and boy did I barely have any ice on it. That's the second sign. After I paid, the guy gave me back $10 bill for my change. And after a few seconds, he then asked me if I wanted to have two $5 bills instead....... I thought that was strange that he asked me that since my amount due of change back was $10. I didn't care if it's a ten dollar bill or two $5 bills, just give people the right amount. I'm assuming he may have wanted me to give him $5 tip for a $10.29 tab.smh.... So I ask the Hispanic or Latino guy to put more ice and he gave it back to me saying be careful it's spilling over.. I'm driving off and it just dawned on me that dude just literally put more water on my ice water drink than any ice at all. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Granted I wasn't really paying attention when he handed me my water drink and I just took off and I even gave him $2 tip since it was $10.29 for four small empanadas, so that's my fault. But hey cueball, can you at least put more adequate ice to water ratio next time when people ask for water in general unless they specify no ice. Can't believe I'm having to lecture a restaurant worker how to do his job.smh..like I barely had any ice or nothing at all. Never ever coming based on that experience. The empanadas were $10.29 for four small pieces. Not worth the value, just go elsewhere and get a meal for that price.

This is the real deal. The great reviews its had for its 8 yrs understate how good it is. The food is amazing and such an extensive menu. Ive missed out not trying it until Now. Learn from my mistake in delaying to visit. Nice owner and staff. My good to place has been Mi Dia but this tops it. Keep this local asset going strong.

My wife and I went here for a Saturday lunch and it was the best surprise! We had the soup, brisket, and guacamole. Everything was absolutely delicious and it definitely tasted like it is made in-house. We cannot wait to be back! This instantly went into our top 5 restaurants in the area. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and very fast. We cannot recommend it enough.
