I came here for my birthday, the one dinner a year I allow myself to splurge on something special, and I left deeply disappointed. I had chosen the restaurant myself and felt embarrassed that I had brought my family there. This was a rare chance for all of us to enjoy something together, and I wanted it to be a great experience for them too. While there were a few items we enjoyed, the issues with several others, like overly sweet ikura, bitter scallop, and spoiled-tasting, visibly deteriorated uni nigiri that should not have been served, outshone the good. I didn’t say anything to the server because I didn’t want to disrupt the birthday atmosphere or make things uncomfortable for my family, but I hadn’t expected to be in that position at all. After I emailed them, they refunded the uni nigiri, but the experience still fell far short of the quality and care I expected at this price point. I was told my feedback would be passed along, but the reply felt more like a formality than a genuine response to what happened. It wasn’t just a bad meal. It was a missed moment I had looked forward to all year.
We live within walking distance of Ebesu and finally made it there for dinner. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening, though I’d recommend making a reservation to be safe.
The food was top-notch, and both the service and atmosphere were excellent. While prices run higher than average, they’re not unreasonable. We’ll definitely be returning!
Nancy was a fantastic waitress and explained the menu in great detail, which helped my wife and I as first time diners here! We both got the Specialty Course and it is worth every penny! Every piece of fish tasted as if it was just caught out of the ocean, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the A5 Wagyu was tender and delicious and the Matcha Tiramisu was any matcha lovers dream. All in all, my wife and I were so pleased with the food, staff and experience. We can’t wait to come again with visiting friends and family!
Went there for a friend date and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The service was great. Food came quick. No complaints except as the evening went on, it got quite noisy. We loved the potatoes with the truffle oil dip, the shrimp, the ribs and the specialty role with spicy tuna. All of these were amazing and we will definitely be back. I ordered the Matcha old fashioned. It was good. I’m glad I tried it because it was unique, but I wouldn’t order it again. We will definitely be back.
This has been one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant and some of the best sushi ever!
For a signature roll, I ordered the Yuzu Hama Roll. It combines yellowtail, serrano peppers, and a truffle vinaigrette for a perfect balance of flavors. Absolutely incredible.
I also had the tako, maguro, and suzuki nigiri. Every piece was exceptionally fresh, with beautiful presentation and attention to detail. The quality here is top-notch.
My favorite is the crunchy Eel tempura roll, it's a must !!!
The service was impeccable by everyone especially by Ryan our server. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I'm so so so happy we chanced upon this place. Thank you for topping off a wonderful day.
The food was perfect and authentic. Very friendly staff!

Went today with my son for the first time and WOW. The food was SO delicious. The Wagyu on Hot Rock is a must. My son is 9 and he especially loved cooking the beef on the hot rock. Its served with multiple sauces and garlic chips (which were all so good) but I think they season it as well because we tried it with no sauce and it was savory and melt in our mouths delicious! We also tried the pork belly skewers, rainbow roll, fried spicy mayo prawns and gyoza. Everything was ?
All staff we interacted with were kind and made us feel welcome. Ryan took care of us during dinner and he was great! We look forward to coming back next month!
Kid-friendliness: I went with my son. He is 9 years old and he loved it. Wants to go back for our birthdays next month. He really liked cooking the Wagyu on the Hot Rock and he loved our server Ryan.

Food was delicious, smaller portions but high quality. Good drinks too.
Our server was extremely pushy and tried to upsell at every opportunity, even when I asked for the check. That dampened the mood on date night.

I Got a Poke bowl and it was delicious. This restaurant has an amazing calm atmosphere and has 2 private rooms for large groups. Service was also good friendly waiters and a raffle you get put in for spending 50$. Would recommend their spicy poke bowl.
Parking: Have to park slightly far away because it was busy

Overall, this place is great to have dinner on special occasions. But, I still think the sushi is mediocre..not so authentic. If you want authentic sushi, definitely not this place.

Ebesu is by far the best place to get sushi in the DFW area! Everything is impeccably crafted. The sushi is so fresh, the drinks are delicious, and the service is wonderful!

Granddaughter Foodie and I recently decided to celebrate her 14th birthday over dinner at EBESU Robata & Sushi … ?WOW!!
Every dish was delicious: unique and layered complimentary flavors, nice vibe, front row seats at the sushi bar; Ryan is an excellent Server —and she (we ☺️) loved the sweet surprise.
I’m planning to go back for the multi-course dinner!

This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in Dallas. If u re looking for authentic Japanese food that you find in Japan, then this is the right place. Not regular American Japanese restaurant. Uchi used to be our favorite but not anymore
