Excited to try Eddie V’s….First visit and very mixed feelings. Party of 4, we all thought AVERAGE. A lot of money for average…

Bread good.
Crab Cake, amazing
Lamb Chops great
Rib Eye good
Redfish Special, dry. Did not eat it.

None of us liked the sides, especially the crab fried rice. After ready the reviews I had to order it….awful! Overcooked mushy rice that had no flavor.

Caesar salad…boring, nothing special.

Decent drinks but way over priced. Lemon Drop Martini…$24 each! Wow

Not sure I’d return for another visit.

I do not understand how this place is rated highly.. a generic Chili's has better service. It wasn't our server that was the problem, but rather everything else around the experience..

The food is 5 star
The service is 5 star

Made reservations for an early dinnner (4:30)and when we got there we’re told the main dinning hall doesn’t open till 5pm.

You should notify folks making reservations that they will have to sit at the tall bar table and listen to live music, close up if they book prior to 5.

Great place. Food was really good. Service was exceptional. My only negative is the $50 salmon is farm raised and not wild, a shame for the price point.

Extremely overpriced. The interior and food quality should have been better considering the price we paid. Extremely over rated.

We had high expectations but unfortunately disappointed. Bar service was incredible slow, and cocktails were made incorrectly. Appetizers and salads arrived together and flooded the table. Our dinner was missing food ordered. EV’s did remove the food and drink errors from the check but too little too late. Maybe Saturday night wasn’t the best night to go. Everyone acted very slammed.

Went there to have a few bites and drinks over the weekend. The waitress was nice! & her helper as well, however there was a hair in our sliders. ( things happen & we didn't make a big deal over it) I did return the plate, however I was expecting at least the manager to stop by and apologize. The server said that the plate was taken off but that was it. It seemed odd considering Darden standards. Probably won't be back, but we at least gave it a try! Overall the place and ambiance was nice.

My wife and I went a week ago for our 13th wedding anniversary and left with food poisoning. We decided to try Eddie V's for the first time for our anniversary. Reserved online and got seated quickly upon arrival. At no point during the meal did we get asked if we were there for a special occasion. Not a requirement by any means but I've been to plenty of steakhouses and this is the first that didn't do that. I was surprised to find several of the appetizer items (such as oysters rockefeller) were not on the dining menu, only the bar. Again, I know some things are bar only but felt odd that a typical dish like that couldn't be ordered in the main dining room. I ordered the Sole and my wife ordered the lamb. The food tasted fine and the server was pleasant enough but, overnight, my wife came down with significant food poisoning from her lamb. I had 2 small bites and also dealt with a more minor case of it but it ruined our anniversary dinner and overall perception of the restaurant. I don't expect to be dining her again and I'd suggest avoiding the lamb.

First time experience here I came for my birthday on Monday and for it being a Monday. It was very busy before New Year’s Eve(understandable). It’s a very nice aesthetic inside the restaurant however, the waitress at our table was running behind and I completely understand that she was still amazing 😇and informative , the food overall was ok (6.5/10)I do think this establishment is a bit overrated. The bread was warm and tasty with the butter (8/10)- the lobster bisque was not creamy and had more of a sea water taste (3/10).. the main dishes were the ribeye wish was cooked amazing and had a amazing flavor (10/10) ⭐️and very tender , the Chilean sea bass was good and fresh (7/10), however the sides did not show up . The lobster mash was not anything special (3/10), nor the crab fried rice (3/10)or the truffle Mac (1/10). The asparagus was just asparagus nothin crazy . The crab cake and stuffed shrimp were the stars of this dinner (10/10) ⭐️⭐️

Kid-friendliness: I would not bring my kids here. The setting is really for adults only. It's very peaceful, don't bring the kids.

Took my wife out on Sunday night for our anniversary and was greatly disappointed by the food. I ordered the following: Steak Tartare, The Seared Tuna, and the Creme Brulé. The only thing worth the price of admission was the one item NOT cooked; the Steak Tartare. The Seared Tuna had seasoning that tasted like it had been in my great grandmother's cabinet for the last 70 years. The Creme Brule was curdled and inedible. The wine tasted watered down (this is my fault for ordering wine by the glass).
There are 15 other restaurants in a ten mile radius ten times better.
