This our fourth time coming to this place and it’s been EXCELLENT each time! PS We take home what we can’t eat here. Service! Food! Ambience! Jose was our server this visit and he was so great Beto is aces he was the waiter on our last visit all your servers are superb best draft modelo in the DFW area!!! I met Mary tonight she is the manager and she truly cares about her people she cares about each and every person that comes in this place I am impressed with her wisdom and management skills and personality

The food was decent. The server was good. I asked for butter, and the server brought me something in a very small pack that said vegetable oil it was horrible. It's safe to say I want be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: It was wheelchair accessible. My daughter was in a wheelchair.
There were only 2 other table occupied while we were there. Waitress was slow and uninterested. Table of 7 received 2 small bowls of chips and had to request refills. Food was meh. Beans were blah and 15-20 minutes after we had finished eating and were just visiting, I got up and cleared all our dishes to an empty table nearby so we had a little elbow room. We won't be returning.

We love El Fenix! My husband says their cheese enchiladas con carne are hands down the best!!! Also their chips are fantastic! Salsa best too! We always bring some home, not the salsa in the jars at checkout, you have to get the fresh that they serve at the table.
