When you guys dont serve the food at 11 30pm. Why don't you update the time. We came a long way to check our the restaurant since it was showing open till 1AM. I am sorry but this is not how you do a business.

Authentic flavour...loved it here

SUPER MAN

I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani from this place at midnight, but what I received was nothing close to biryani. They sent only Tamarind rice with no chicken at all — not even a single piece of chicken. It tasted like biryani masala mixed with tamarind rice, which makes no sense. I’ve never seen Biryani served like this anywhere. This feels like cheating. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

I contacted this restaurant a week in advance to let them know I’d be bringing a group of around 12 people for a company lunch. I was told twice — once when I first called, and again the day before — that it would be no problem. When I arrived at 11:30 AM, the place was eerily quiet. No menu displays (TVs off), no music, and even exploded Coke cans sitting in the fridge. Not a great start.

Turns out there was only one person working the entire restaurant. He told me they had a limited menu and he'd be handling everything — seating, orders, cooking. We waited over an hour for food, during which time the bathroom had no soap, and walk-in customers were ringing the bell and asking us if anyone was working. We had to tell them the lone staff member was in the kitchen making our food.

When it finally arrived, the food was bland and disappointing. My dal masala was basically watery soup. I felt embarrassed in front of our company leadership for choosing this spot.

To top it off, the owner called me after the fact and started shouting at me after I calmly explained our experience. She made excuses, claimed they’re not really open for lunch (despite confirming our reservation twice), and told me the TVs and music are always off — as if that makes everything okay.

If you value professionalism, good food, or just being treated respectfully — avoid this place.

I made goat paya at home and thought tandoori roti would be a good match. Express India is close to me so I called and ordered tandoori roti. After waiting 20 minutes I picked it up and came back to my room. When I opened the box, I was shocked the roti looked undercooked. I’ve never had tandoori roti like this in my life. Honestly, I can make better roti myself. They charged $4 for this half-cooked chapati or tandoori roti. I’m not even sure what to call it. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend it. If there were an option for a negative rating, I would have chosen that.

The food here is honestly amazing! I came with my friends, and we tried the gongura chicken biryani, chaat, and paneer biryani—we absolutely loved both the food and the warm hospitality. The food is authentic and has its flavours on spot. Aunty is the sweetest!

On our second visit, we had the paneer tikka masala, methi malai, garlic naan, and paneer kothu parotta. Trust me, this is the best spot to hang out. It’s officially our favorite place to chill with friends from now on! Again, Aunty is really sweet.

I visited Express India yesterday for the first time with my friends and I got to say, I’m gonna keep coming here a lot more often. The food was amazing and fresh, and also more in quantity. The servicing was excellent. The ambience of this place was great as well. They didn’t make us wait so long for the food. Kudos to the chefs for delicious food.

I recently visited and was extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was one of the worst I've ever and poorly cooked. I honestly wonder if the positive reviews are from friends of the owners, as my experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend visiting this place. I just want to raise a complaint towrads the food department

There is no 0 star I would have given that. Worst experience. I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the non-veg combo meal. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The food was overly salty and lacked any real flavor. The naan was more like pita bread and disappointing. It felt like they were cutting corners on quality just to make a quick money.I really wouldn’t recommend this place; it’s better to avoid it altogether.
