First time coming here and will come here again. The food was great and pretty quiet when I got there and I enjoyed it a lot. plus I got my food in matter of minutes and service was good!

A friend introduced me to this place because of the gumbo. I came back several times and Mr. Frank thanked me for coming back. He was very nice. I was eating on the patio and was leaving out and Mr. Frank thanked me and told me have a nice day. I left out and realized his hospitality and went back in and thanked him. I'm kind of a regular now I love their Dungeness crabs, strawberry cheesecake, gumbo, coleslaw, catfish, tilapia, shrimp and fries. I highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

I was so disappointed, generally when the line is out the door the food is good, everything was bland, I did enjoy the store bought pecan pie, how is it this many people, in Texas of all places, can frequent this place? Taste like the food was cooked by someone that doesn’t eat food,, this place was pure trash to me.
Love Fish Shack usually, but today wasn't one of those days. The fried oysters smelled "fishy" before I bit into one. They were more "fishy" after I bit in. What a disappointment. The fried shrimp were delicious and tasted fresh, which was what I usually experienced with all the food. I didn't eat the rest of the oysters. The tartar sauce was thin and watery today too...not the usual thick sauce. <sigh>
