I really like Flying Fish. It's a casual place with a fun atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. This visit I had the grilled rainbow trout with beans and rice and grilled zucchini and yellow squash. The trout was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The grilled veggies were cooked well (not mushy), but could have had a little more seasoning. The beans and rice were tasty as well.
If you like seafood, this is a good place to try.

In Plano , great location , fried shrimp and catfish basket , and gator 🐊 bites . Fish fry was well seasoned , shrimp was bettered crispy , and the gator bites were amazing
This restaurant has a great menu, and the food is stellar. Both my girlfriend and I order the shrimp jambalaya often. That’s a great meal.
The prices are reasonable. I suggest signing up for the Grub Club. If you do, Flying Fish will email you 1 coupon per month that allows you to buy 1 entree, get 1 free. (2 drinks must be purchased.) This is the best deal you’ll ever see!
The employees here are very friendly. I’ve noticed they have very little turnover in their staff, which I believe is a positive thing. The employees seem to be enjoying their jobs, and this can be seen in their good attitudes.

This is how how customer service should be done. We had a hair in a meal that wouldn't stop, like a long hair. These things happen, people have hair. We took it to the manger and they immediately apologized and offered a replacement, or any other dish we wanted. On top of this they credited our bill for the meal and gave us a gift certificate to boot. Thanks to all the staff and management tonight y'all are awesome!
