I recently had the pleasure of visiting Golden Boy Coffee & Wine Bar located on the boardwalk, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this hidden gem offers a unique blend of aromatic coffee and exquisite wines, making it a perfect spot for both morning pick-me-ups and evening relaxation. The atmosphere at Golden Boy is cozy and inviting, with its warm lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor. The view of the boardwalk from the large windows adds to the charm, creating a tranquil environment where one can unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to read a book or a friendly space to catch up with friends, this café has got you covered. Now, let's talk about the main highlight: the beverages. Golden Boy truly excels in their selection of coffee and wine. As a coffee aficionado, I was impressed by their range of specialty brews sourced from different regions. From smooth and balanced blends to bold and rich single-origin options, there was something to please every coffee lover's palate. The baristas were knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring that each cup was brewed to perfection. What sets Golden Boy apart is their unique combination of coffee and wine. It's not every day that you come across a place that seamlessly blends these two worlds. Their wine list features a carefully curated selection of reds, whites, and sparkling wines, allowing patrons to explore different varietals and pairings. The staff was more than happy to provide recommendations based on individual preferences, ensuring a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts as well.In addition to their outstanding beverages, Golden Boy also offers a limited but thoughtfully crafted food menu. While the food options may be on the lighter side, they complement the beverages perfectly, making it an ideal spot for a quick bite or a snack between sips. The service at Golden Boy was friendly and attentive. The staff members were approachable, offering suggestions and engaging in conversations about their offerings. It was evident that they were passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm added to the overall positive experience. The cozy ambiance is indeed a plus, but it can make finding a seat during peak hours a bit challenging. However, this minor inconvenience is easily outweighed by the quality of their offerings and the overall experience. In conclusion, Golden Boy Coffee & Wine Bar is a hidden gem on the boardwalk, offering a delightful combination of excellent coffee, fine wines, and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you're a coffee lover or a wine enthusiast, this place has something special to offer. Just be prepared to navigate the seating situation, especially during busy periods. I highly recommend paying a visit to Golden Boy and indulging in their exceptional beverages that will leave you craving for more

Disappointed to see all the bad reviews. I stopped in today - I love the retro vibe, all of the comfy seating with plenty of outlets. I also like that there's nice covered outdoor seating too, with at least a couple accessible outlets. The coffee I had was a little odd - the iced chai tea latte with espresso was kind of a miss - but probably just not my jam. I'll definitely be back. The only thing I can see would be to add a few rugs throughout inside to really add to the vibe. And I like the fake plants, what a weird comment from another customer.

I hate rating a place 3 stars when the coffee was very good. Oh man was the service terrible. We visit all kinds of coffee shops in our travels and love the welcoming atmosphere of them, this one missed the mark. For starters the area you place your order is tight and people as constantly having to maneuver around each other which is just a minor complaint, and I obviously have to comment on the fake plants, which of course is another minor complaint. But honestly it was the person behind the counter. The experience is always odd when I walk up and start the conversation with someone who’s just staring at me. I typically order a hot vanilla latte with almond milk. But they didn’t have almond milk, which is never a big deal, but when I asked what milk options they had he was having non of it. He pointed to a piece of paper hanging on the glass that could be seen if I came in the other entrance, but not the one I came in. I’m always in a good mood when I walk into coffee places and truly enjoy treating people with kindness and it’s the only the second or third time in my life I clicked that “no tip” button. Ruined my morning, with how rude he was. But hey people have off days. Coffee was great! Would’ve gotten 5 stars from me.

Welcoming decor and staff. One of the baristas must have been new to the shop because she was asking the other for suggestions on how to shy customers away from altering their specialties so they're at their best taste. I appreciate that she was trying to learn because I am the person who will ask for recommendations. The barista allowed us sample the syrup for one of the seasonal drinks and my friend plans to go back for it. I had the Golden Chai despite it being caffeine free. 10/10 would order it again. The blend of ingredients was what attracted me to it and it's perfection. I don't know if they have a caffeinated version, but the 9 Spice Chai sounded good, too.

Amazing coffee and lovely atmosphere. The perfect hidden gem with decor that isn't super common. It's small but so cozy and there's outdoor seating if the weather is nice. I get chai latte's every coffee shop I go to and this one was sooooo flavorful. I got to sit and read my book for about an hour and wasn't distracted at all. I can't wait to go back. Ps. The seating is very comfy!

A cute coffee shop in Granite Park. I stopped by on a Wednesday morning to grab some much needed caffeine before heading to work. When walking in, I immediately noticed the simple yet comforting decor and ambiance. There were a good number of people working and/or catching up that morning, and I would have loved to stay longer and work in the space. The coffee menu is pretty standard, with a few signature drinks. I opted to try the signature Honey Bear Latte, which is an expresso with local honey & cinnamon. It was a delicious, sweet treat - the coffee flavor was quite strong but the honey and cinnamon really shone through. I also got an Earl Gray Loaf (not as standout as the Latte). Overall a great experience and would recommend!

Golden Boy Coffee serves good coffee, but their failure to consistently open on time is unacceptable. As a regular customer, I depend on their promptness to accommodate my morning routine. It's unprofessional and disruptive to my schedule when they don't adhere to their advertised hours. The lack of reliability is disappointing and inconvenient, and I will have to consider finding another coffee shop that values punctuality.

Great cafe to fuel up on caffeine and get some work done! My iced hazelnut latte was flavorful but not overpowering. I could pass on the turkey swiss panini, but I didn't want to have my second coffee of the day on an empty stomach. Service was fantastic - every worker was warm and friendly. Noise level was about average for a coffee shop. If it wasn't so humid, I would have sat outside, but the inside was nicely lit and made for a productive session. I'll definitely stop by again!!

I’ve always had an decent americano here and good interaction with staff. There’s always space which is nice as well. However, the music is so loud and not exactly a coffeeshop vibe. Like there was down and dirt rap playing one day which is totally fine (like I am a fan of places living their best life and playing whatever the baristas are in the mood for) but it was SOOOOO loud. It made it hard to think and I can’t imagine having a convo with someone in there. I’ll keep going back when I’m in that area because again, the space is good but I just wish the volume situation was a bit different. It’s almost like they’re trying to match the vibe of the surrounding restaurants which I guess I get but also wish it was more of a mellow coffeeshop vibe instead.

Love! Nog latte was SO yummy, wouldn’t be mad if they kept it year round! Try their homemade pop tart, it is amazing! This shop is equal parts adorable, comforting, and yummy. Can’t wait to come back!

I love this coffee shop. It's locally owned, and all the baristas are always so nice. I like sitting outside to look out at the pond and see all the beautiful sparrows. The inside is lovely, decorated in modern accents with a yellow (gold) and blue theme. I love trying new things from the seasonal menu.

A friend recommended this coffee shop as a place to meet before work to relax and catch up. If you ask my mom and husband, I'm actually not a coffee drinker. I'm one of those people who purchases a caramel frap at Starbucks and acts like I'm doing something. They've very kindly let me know I've essentially ordered a caramel milkshake. Anyway, the person at the cash register gave me excellent recommendations and was very patient as I asked a thousand questions about the menu. I wanted to try something new, but because I'm not a traditional coffee drinker I also knew I needed to be careful about my choice. I was recommended the Honey Bear Latte and it was perfect. The flavor was perfectly balanced and I didn't even have to add sugar to the drink (see above where I said I like caramel fraps). The inside of the coffee shop is nice and quaint and set up for small groups to chat. They have a lovely outside covered patio that will be great once the weather gets warmer. I wanted to try one of their sandwiches, but they're pre-made with melted cheese which isn't my jam but would probably make most people VERY excited! I would absolutely recommend this coffee shop to others. I'll have to go back and try the wine.

We come here almost every weekend. The music is always a vibe , staff is friendly & coffee and food are great. They have breakfast burritos I always get one of each . We've also ordered their cookies and they honestly never miss. The location is also super nice right at the granite park boardwalk . You can either sit inside or out in their little patio with a nice view of the boardwalk.
