In general, this is my wife's Friday night kitchen. She stays home and I go and get her fried chicken for Friday night. We missed Friday this week, so on Saturday she and my son went out and stopped by GC for chicken to bring home. She says she ordered Golden Roast Chicken, but what was in the box she found at home was Golden Fried Chicken. Our mistake for not checking the order before she left. But what she/we learned was that our order as it turned out was the absolute worst or baddest fried chicken we have had in a very long time. Placed my order online at a Golden chick near where I work. I went and picked up the order. Got home and missing items and wrong chicken order. I know my fault for not checking when I was there, but I was in a hurry. The cost of takeout these days just disappoints me that it can’t be right.

Ordered online; tried to do drive-through to pick up, they said I had to come inside. The place was packed with a line to the door. I was waiting in line, when an employee basically slammed 3 bags of orders on the counter. I tried to ask if one of them might be mine but I was ignored. I checked the tags, found my order, grabbed it and left. Won’t be back here in a hurry.

Chicken was crispy but slightly under seasoned, they forgot my gravy that I ordered. Drive through service and still messed it up. Ambiance was okay but a little dirty. I miss my gravy. I guess you can call me young gravy. But without my gravy I'm just young. Forever young

Arrived at 6pm no cars. Order a 3 piece and got the smallest pieces they could have possibly have gotten. Looked like a joke. When I came to the window the lady at the window was really nice and said sorry I said don’t worry and could hear the gentleman in the back who looked like the cook say don’t say that we’re not sorry and she tried to shush him. Also the drink was extremely syrupy, had to throw the drink out. Love golden chick but won’t be going back to this location.
