Best mochi donuts in DFW. I've tried other places, even a popular chain but they all can't compare to Good Times Donut. The texture of their dough is amazing - soft, airy, chewy (I'm not a fan of American donuts), the sweetness is just right, not crazily sweet. I love their black sesame and cookie'n'cream flavors, easily finish 4 of them within 15 mins lol.

Both the drink and donut was incredibly sweet

We went here on a Sunday. It opened at 11, and they didn't have the mochi donuts ready. They took our order, and we then waited 25 minutes for the donuts and 30 minutes for our brown sugar latte. The donuts were ok, but nothing to write home about, and the drink was literally milk. The one I paid for, they did not have, so we got the brown sugar. It had zero flavor aside from just milk. The drink was super disappointing. I would not recommend trying this place. We were the 1st ones there, so waiting 30 mins is a little crazy.

I got the Matcha, the Goma, and the Hojicha. Definite better than Mochi donuts in North Dallas that were ice cold but my favorite was in Philadelphia where they were hot out of the oven. So maybe this is just a timing issue. The frosting was tasty and the service was quick!

One time several months ago, I had a salted caramel donut here, and it was the best donuts I’ve ever eaten. That was the one and only time I have seen this flavor offered. PLEASE OFFER THIS FLAVOR REGULARLY!!!!!!

I tried Taiyaki for the first time, it is a fish shape waffle with red bean custard that is lightly sweetened and it turned out to be so much better than I expected. The filling was smooth and creamy, I was worried that it would have been a little bit gritty but it was really delicious and not gritty at all. We tried a few of the mochi donuts and I thought they were really good, my favorite was the fruity pebble and the matcha flavors. The best part about mochi donuts are that they're lightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, these were so good!

Can't walk pass by without buying a few goodies, being that I am a huge fan of Mochi donuts! My brother & I were stopping at the Japanese supermarket's food ball for lunch, & I noticed Good Times immediately. I saw the colorful display of a myriad of donuts, and couldn't just buy one. I decided on half a dozen. My favorite ones were fruity pebble & Ube donuts. Fruity pebbles cereal was one of my favorites growing up. And the crunchy & lightly sweet topping was perfect atop the chewy & fluffy Mochi donut. The Ube one was delicious & fresh too! The Asian lady behind the counter was very friendly & was chatting me up too! I'll def return if I am in the area again.

I've tried so many brands of Mochi Donuts in DFW area, and I think this place is The BEST! Every is just right. Not too sweet, not too hard, not too chewy.. Just Right! And their creamy topping is the best amoung the other mochi donuts brand. Hope they open another store in downtown dallas area where I live..

The donuts are really good. However the staff working there needs to actually speak to customers.

Got the fruity pebbles and the strawberry donuts. Both were very good. Located just inside the food court.

All the other reviews from 9 months - 1 year ago are all saying otherwise. For my personal and 1st time experience at Good Times Donuts in Mitsuwa - Plano, TX, however, was the complete opposite. We went on a Sunday afternoon, hoping to enjoy some delicious mochi donuts. We ordered half a dozen (3 Ube, 1 yuzu and 2 strawberry) mochi donuts and it was just NOT giving what a mocha donut should taste like. It seemed like the donuts were a day or two days old This was NOT our first time to try mochi donuts, so it was a disappointment for the price paid and for the lack of how a mochi donuts should taste. The consistency of the mochi/tapioca in the donuts were lacking. The icing/glaze were just breaking off the donut when we break apart the pieces. We have tried better mochi donuts. This wasn't it.
