OMGOSH, it has been a very long time since I have eaten at Grandys. Its not like the original Grandys in the late 80's and the 90's.. Oh, how I miss the Grandma, who brought out the fresh rolls. I had the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and fried okra. Everything was cooked perfectly, not over done or greasy. The chicken tenders were juicy, not dry. Mashed potatoes did not taste home-cooked, but still good. The restaurant was clean. There was an older gentleman working there. We were able to talk to him for a few minutes, he was very sweet. My biggest disappointment, was no fried chicken livers. Grandys used to have the best!!

This location easy to access right off the freeway. The food and customer service was good as well, I'll recommend this place for people looking to have more then just a sandwich for lunch. They have mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans. Southern cooking on the go!!

Well, it's official! I just ate at Grandys for the last time! The food was trash, the employees act like they are at a soup kitchen, and the inside reflects it! This morning it was 44 degrees outside and this is the temperature inside,.. 58 degrees! Ridiculous! Where is the health department? Tear this place down already!!! At least let our good memories remain and not be replaced with whatever this is!

Drive up service is not good. They do not give you fresh hot food and food had short black hair on top of chicken fried steak meal. If you go back to let them know Ander gives excuses and attitude they have other customers that don't complain. So unprofessional and disgusting with his Bushey thick long beard and bushey hair sticking out of his dirty cap he wares. Completely nasty appearance and leaning over the food serving buffet they keep food in for hair to fall into it. I will be calling Plano Health Department tomorrow and open a complaint against this location. Lesson learned today there was not a simple apology or never a Thank you either when ordered and paid $32.32 for 2 meals and left.

Been coming here for 35yrs, food used to be excellent. Suddenly took a turn for the worst. Very, very disappointed, my food looked like it been sitting out for days, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Will never be coming back here ever, and this new employee the African American older guy, man this guy needs an attitude adjustment for real. Save your money and go else where.
