Really Really skimpy on the ingredients. Only had the onions I paid for on 3 of the six slice pizza and I ordered them for the whole pizza. I really like Grimaldis but I am disappointed every time I order from this location. Will never order delivered food from this location again. Paying $25 for a 12 inch pizza with skimpy ingredients makes me feel like I got ripped off.

Overall, we enjoyed our trip here. The service was slow, however, and our server never once offered to refill our drinks, but the food was great.

We came in for the advertised lunch special. Slice and drink. I got 3 toppings on my slice which were just tossed on the top of a cheese slice. Not the way to do it. The toppings immediately fell right off the slice.

I just came here for the first time. I have never had a better pizzeria experience, I could not be more literal. Come here or regret missing out forever! The service was incredibly personable and responsive.

If you come here ask for the server Kacey. She was awesome! 10/10

We ordered:

1/2 The Don, and 1/2 Prosciutto Arugula pizza.

As well as a second pie consisting of 1/2 Hot Honey&Pepperoni and 1/2 the Garden Pesto Pizza. (We replaced the Artichoke with Spinach)

Listen to me when I say this, I have never had a better slice of pizza than that Garden Pesto. Order it and never look back!

Vegetarian options: They make modifications to their pizzas and have good meatless options.

Short version: Yes, I recommend Grimaldi's Pizzeria if you like a good, brick oven style pizza. They use quality ingredients and usually are not skimpy on the toppings.

That said, here are some extra details.

It was not an incredibly busy night, and we sat outside. Food came in a timely fashion, and service was mostly great; however, some of us were left dry for long periods on our waters.

Food itself was good quality, but I recommend asking questions for clarification. Their cheese pizza (4 cheese) is apparently just that, cheese on bread with either no sauce or possibly a butter or oil and garlic sauce, so it was a disappointment. This was especially disappointing due to the fact that we discussed with the server that the person ordering it was a picky eater and wanted a cheese pizza with regular sauce, and we were advised that this pizza would be a great option. Nothing was offered to try to make it right (no personal plain cheese w/ red sauce; no bill compensation; just a "sorry you didn't like it").

Desserts were good, but not great, plus they were out of some popular options. We will likely skip dessert next time.

Overall, definitely will eat there again, but may just stick to ordering our own pizza creation instead of their menu offerings. Highly recommend asking a lot of questions, cause you will pay in full, even if you're disappointed.

NOTE: Edits were to spelling and grammar errors noticed when reading the reply. Auto-correct gets us all at some point.

This isn’t the location to experience grimaldis. As you can see it has the lowest rating of all their locations in dfw.

I DONT KNOW WHO IS IN CHARGE BUT they are not making the pizza the way other locations are. They are doing a weird Grimaldis if it was a Detroit style pizza and it’s not working man. Management needs to change or something. Go to a different location!

Have not been to Grimaldis in about two years. It was always fresh and very good. This is not the current case. Mushrooms are from a can and watery, very little if any cheese, and the sauce tastes awful. A cross between Chef Boyarde and diced tomatoes. The pizza was not cooked and soggy. Overall, Terrible and bad quality. Apparently to cut costs they have gone with the cheapest canned products. You are better off finding a local independent pizza place to dine. Oh and by the way, if you like anchovies (I know this is very few) it appears they use sardines instead not salty at all! When questioned they said they are anchovies, my question back was since when does an anchovy have skeleton bones and heads.

Fantastic! A wonderful experience. Sat at the bar and had a great time chatting with the bartenders and friendly customers. The Don was an exceptional meal. Highly recommend.

The pizza is always superb! However, it is quite disheartening to order online and not receive your pizza order when it is ready. The order was placed at 4:00pm, and the order pickup time was set for 4:19pm. At 4:29pm, I finally received the basic margarita pizza I ordered. With absolutely no one sitting in the restaurant, how is it possible for there to be a delay with an online order?
