Food was delicious! I had the pompano and man great flavors. Simple menu with hefty servings!
One note (I'd deduct half a star if I could), there were some roaches crawling along the walls... The place doesn't look dirty at all, but small concern.

Got the Mandi chicken and Hanith chicken. Both were delicious and the portion sizes huge! Had enough food to eat the next day.

Terrible customer service.
Our experience was an absolute nightmare. No one came back to check if we needed any assistance. After waiting 30 minutes, I went to the counter to pay, and the staff member responded with awkward, dismissive remarks when I pointed out that no one had followed up. His behavior was extremely disrespectful.
I would never recommend this place.
Great food & staff!! Highly recommended

Lamb Haneet I like the best , Mandi is good but rice on Haneet are more tasty. Plano location Mandi and Haneet both somehow much better than Irving location.

Karak chai tea is fantastic
This was my second visit to this spot, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. I brought my parents, who were visiting from New York, to try some Yemeni food, but from the moment we walked in, the service fell short. There was only one server handling multiple tables, and he wasn’t friendly in fact, he came across as rude. The staff in the back, who occasionally came out to chat with the server, also seemed irritated and unprofessional.
Once we placed our order, the food took a while to arrive. Sadly, my mom ended up getting food poisoning from the lamb she ate. The portion sizes were okay, but the food quality did not meet our expectations. The seating was also uncomfortable the tables are too high for the low chairs, making it hard to sit and eat comfortably. I ordered a lemonade, which tasted old and unpleasant.
All in all, this was a disappointing experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it. You’re better off ordering from somewhere else.

Hadramout Restaurant is my spot for authentic mandi and biryani! The lamb and chicken mandi are incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous and perfect for sharing or taking home leftovers. The biryani is aromatic and satisfying, with just the right blend of spices. Service is friendly and quick, making every visit enjoyable. If you’re craving delicious arabic cuisine at a reasonable price, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend for both first-timers and regulars!

The food was really good, the meat was falling off the bone and the rice was pleasantly seasoned. Although I would've appreciated it being a bit spicier

I was really looking forward to eating at this Yemeni restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The flavors were not authentic — it didn’t taste like real Yemeni food. The meat samboosa had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the rice did not seem fresh at all. I think they really need to hire a proper Yemeni cook who knows how to prepare traditional dishes the right way. The service was okay, but the food needs major improvement.

We ordered Mandi and Hanith lamb, and they offered a huge plate to serve them together. What a feast! Mandi lamb is like jelly, very tender and full of authentic aroma, while Hanith lamb is slightly more chewy, and richer in flavor with roasted thin shell. We love both. They go great with the dip, Portion size is huge. We finished barely more than 1/3 plate and had to grab 2 boxes to go. I wish i knew Hadramount restaurant earlier. This place is much better than those bullshits around Ztao (with very few exceptions), in every way. It definitely deserves more recognition 👍.

Great food and service
Went there with a few family members, and it was definitely not what we expected based on the pictures. It turned out to be more of a small restaurant with limited space and long shared tables—not ideal for a family outing. The food was underwhelming, nothing special. What really surprised me was when I asked for a single cucumber for my nephew, and they said they couldn’t give me one. Just one cucumber. That kind of inflexibility left a bad impression.
