We visited this Yemeni restaurant and ordered mandi rice with lamb. The overall taste was good, but the lamb pieces had slightly different flavors. The fish was delicious and light. The service was average. Overall, it was a decent experience with room for improvement.

STAY AWAY! TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS.
Do not waste a single cent at this establishment. I placed an online order, and not only did they hand me the completely wrong food, but they had the audacity to charge me three times the price for it!
The worst part? I double-checked with the staff at pickup to confirm it was my order, and they looked me in the eye and lied. They are intentionally overcharging customers and refusing to take accountability for their mistakes. This isn't just bad service; it's predatory.
Save your money and your sanity go anywhere else but here.

I was introduced to Hadramout through a word of mouth back in 2023. Being a fan of Yemeni cuisine, I thought I would give it a try. Everytime I came here or ordered take out, I was more than satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. Their Mandi and Haneeth dishes are good; my recommendation is the grilled chicken with extra fried onions (this requires approximately 30 mins of cooking time). The staff are very friendly, hospitable, and attentive.

The service was excellent, but the food was not tasty at all. The flavors were very bland. This food seems suitable only for people who prefer very mild or tasteless food, mainly Middle Eastern/Yemeni style. Not for those who enjoy flavorful food.

Got food poising twice. They guve old food. Employee is very rude. You guys need to check temperature of food and not serve uncooked or old food. Too expensive.

Worst customer service ever. The staff was rude and clearly didn’t know how to deal with customers. The manager was no better. They also added a mandatory service fee despite providing zero service, which I refused to pay.

Hadramout Restaurant is excellent. The food is very good with generous portions and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, with private seating areas and no loud noise, which makes it very enjoyable. The environment is welcoming, and the customer service is good. Overall, a great place that I would definitely recommend.

I was in a group, some folks rated the food at 4 and 5, however I thought it was decent enough to enjoy but not sure if I would make the trip again when I visit Dallas again. We ordered a big tray of rice topped with lamb and chicken of various cuts and flavor.

The food came out so fast and was incredible. The portion was gigantic I couldn't even finish it. I will DEFINITELY be back next time I am in town

Arabic style sitting on floor to eat is an option there and pure privacy for families food was great there is a wait for the food but it worth every minute the food not too pricey.. and portions reasonably good only one thing i did not get is the tipping process they don't leave it to the customer they decide how much is it and give it to you in total price including tip ... I was planning to give more but oh well they decided how much there's service worth.

I'm writing this review and I feel bad that it happened with one of my favorite restaurants in DFW.
Yesterday, I had a take out order of two lamp Mandi and one chicken Mandi family plates. We noticed the smell of chicken Mandi was a bit foul but thought it's because the spice. Later in the day, we reheated the chicken Mandi and the smell was getting worse that we couldn't eat as it seems that the rice was old and looked slimy. We threw that whole plate in the trash. The experience was way below my expectations since my family and I are repeating customers. I have to point out that we never had such experience for dine in. However, I do not believe I will order nor return to that place for some time until such issues being resolved.
