[Strong Recommendation] Can the boss serve takeout on doordash instead of rice balls? . There is a mandatory tip of $20 for each rice ball order, tax and service charge. . I really like to eat at your place but I haven’t had it for a long time because of takeout. .

My friend has been to this restaurant a few times and recommended it to me, so we came together today. The family style stir-fried pork and eggplant were both delicious, perfectly match to my taste, and great with rice. The fish was my friend’s favorite, but personally, I wouldn’t highly recommend it. Overall, the experience was excellent—the service was good, and the prices were reasonable.

Food is amazing but honestly service is terrible. We reserved a room for a big party and the waiter told us that there is minimum spend of $200 per table. That is totally understandable but our waiter wasn’t too happy that we didn’t order $200 worth of food right away. I explained to her that we had friends coming later and will probably order more when they all come in. Later on she came back with an attitude, wanting us to order more so we can reach the $200 minimum spend. We were halfway eating and so we only ordered 1 extra dish and said that we would order more later. The waiter wasn’t happy about it and said “well I don’t want to come back and worth so you’ll have to come to me”. I’m sorry but what? That is so rude and uncalled for. Keep in mind we are paying 20% gratuity bc we have a large party, so I would expect some sort of decent service? It’s not like we were making her coming back and forth for multiple times, we were just not ready to order another round yet. Anyways, food is great but sadly their service overall is trash and makes me hesitant about going back.

The Mao-style braised pork is a bit hard. The sauce and seasoning should be added after cooking the meat in advance, but the time for the flavor to enter is relatively short, so it is not fully absorbed and the flavor only stays on the surface. 5% off cash

From the food to the service, Hunan Bistro didn't disappoint. The menu is vast, which will result in anyone finding something delicious on the menu. We had the dry pot duck in beer sauce, steamed pork belly with bun, and rice, cauliflower and string bean. All excellent!

Human Bistro and next door Chen Garden served similar food. We haven’t been here for a long time. Previously, they were too spicy on their dishes even though we request light spice.
Today the food is pretty good. Kung Pao Chicken usually is our go to dish for a Hunan style cooking. The fish and lamb soup is also our family favorite dish. The kitchen did a good job preparing our meals today.
Sadly, the service is bear minimum. Taking order, bringing our orders and presenting our check. Other than that, the servers hide behind the counter.
Frankly, I don’t think they will even review this comments.
Come here if you like this style of cooking as for service… don’t come with high expectations.

I came here last week with my family. Food was good. They have this eggplant stir fry with green beans and it was the best thing ever. Service was average.. I guess. They hardly checked up on us especially when I wanted some water.

A Yelp! suggestion led us here after a hankering for Pickled Fish Filets. Mom and I were the first patrons after opening for Lunch. We were greeted by Li and given a choice of where to sit. The ambiance is traditional with beautiful elements as evidenced by the numerous Chinese Lanterns hanging in the intimate dining space. He gave us a few minutes to look at the Menu and was very attentive, friendly, and cordial.
We ordered:
1.) Chrysanthemum Tea
2.) Sautéed Asparagus Lettuce with Garlic
3.)Hot Tango Fish Filet
The Chrysanthemum Tea arrived first and can best be described as delicate and refreshing, with a mildly and subtly sweet flavor profile. Rock sugar was provided on the side to control and enhance the intensity.
Our Food was out of the kitchen and delivered to our table within ten minutes. I was especially impressed to find that what we ordered was exactly like the pictures from the website.
Presentation and Taste, Food Quality, and Service were right on point. Portions ideal and reasonably priced. Mom and I enjoyed every bite and had more than enough to box up the remainder and take home.
The fragrant spices, savory, satisfying, mouth-watering, and pickled taste imparted by the garlic, red chilis, scallions, and delicately tender fish, followed by the mildly tingling/numbing sensation on the palate and depth of flavor truly exceeded my expectations. The rice was the ideal accompaniment and complemented the Hot Tango Fish Filet.
The Sautéed Asparagus Lettuce had just the right texture. The minced garlic was a nice touch. It truly enhanced and gave it a contrast of flavor.
Moreover, I wasn’t left with an uncomfortably full feeling like some other Chinese Restaurants. MSG doesn’t appear to have been used as I did not get a headache or migraine. This was my experience; yours may be different. We will return to try other Menu Items.

Pretty decent place for very spicy chinese food. If you like spicy then youll like it here. I thought I could put up with some heat since I like Sichuan food, but this place definitely takes up a notch. Super spicy and more on the salty side, but flavorful food. Large very open area type of restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: Very spicy, becareful if you get ulcers easily.
Parking: Large parking lot, easy to park.
