This is a good, clean, friendly Chinese restaurant in Plano. We went there for dinner with friends. The food was great except for one dish which was salty. We told the manager about it. He decided not to charge us for that dish.

Average level, can’t be wrong to take friends here. Some dishes had flaws, like the beer duck with dry pot. Better come with people who know which dish has to be prepared carefully, and which dish is just there for profits. I think now the dish size is getting smaller. I ordered stir fry frog last week and it can barely be shared among three people.

Generally speaking, Hunan cuisine is not spicy.

The food now is not as salty or spicy as before. I had to drink a lot of water after eating before. The spicy food made my stomach feel a little burning and uncomfortable. The service has also been improved and the service is good. There is no need for tips like before. In the past, tips were required. It's awesome, but the attitude is not good.

Cumin Lamb and Beef with pickled chilies were excellent. Tender, flavorful and spicy. Cauliflower w/ beans were good too. Great place for a succulent chinese meal ;-)

First of all, they serve amazing authentic Chinese/hunan style food here, and yes it is expensive but the amount and portion that you get definitely lives up to the price. Even takeout sizes are great (I’ve observed that some places tend to give you less when you order takeout) most waiters/servers are great and friendly but there is one woman that won’t accommodate any requests. For example for a dish if you request more vegetables and less meat she’ll say no and tell you that there’s “no way to alter the portions” while all the other servers have no problem fulfilling the request. but other than that this place is great and I’ll definitely keep coming back.Oh and on a side note this place gets PACKED during the holidays such as thanksgiving so I wouldn’t recommend coming here during the major holidays though. Wait times can be up to an hour mostly due to people ordering gigantic takeouts. And since the chef is so overwhelmed and in a rush the food quality won’t be as good. Just an advice.

We got the cumin lamb, dry pot spicy beef, and cauliflower with string beans. Food was great, and everything was flavorful and spicy. The cauliflower with string beans was surprisingly my favorite item. What we ordered was plenty of food for two people, with plenty to take home for another full meal. Great portion size.

Loved the authentic taste here. My significant other kept pushing me to go here since I figured it would just be another Chinese blah restaurant but, it was pretty good. Definitely recommend this place.

This is my all-time favorite Szechuan restaurant and this is coming from a California native who now lives in New York. I crave Hunan Bistro the minute I land in Dallas. There stir-fried cauliflower and eggplant with century egg is so addicting! This is honestly one of the top 10 meals of my life and as someone who rarely goes for seconds for rice, I find myself eating at least 3 bowls of rice when I'm here.
