Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill

Came here for game day, 10 poeple were here. The burger had stale buns. The pimento burger was interesting. My partner liked it. The waiter was attentive. We left before the game came on. No real atmosphere especially for a sports bar. I hope this ppace turns around.

Due to poor management at Tailgaters off Parker and Independence in Plano I will not be returning. Scheduling Karaoke on a Prime College football night does not make sense. It’s disappointing to see that this place has gone downhill. It was dead, kids were singing Karaoke, and it doesn’t live up to its name. Bartender and waitress were great and I feel bad for them! The way it’s being run, this place won’t last.

The food and service were great. The prices were fine, but burgers don't come with a side. The only problem is the bathrooms. They look like they were installed fifteen years ago and haven't been updated at all. Just unpleasant. The whole bar is great no matter what the name changes too, but the bathrooms are terrible.

Decided to give this place one more try after receiving terrible service last year. Popped in to have a drink and an appetizer and enjoyed watching the old school Plano locals enjoy themselves at the bar. The Queso was lukewarm, but not unpleasant, the drinks were fairly decent. However, when I got my bar tab there was a 20% gratuity surreptitiously added. While i don't recall a note saying gratuity would be added, there was no highlighting of the practice; I nearly tipped on top of it! Very unusual practice and I personally hold a distaste for deceitful charges being snuck onto my bill.

Had the lake highland location a year ago and it was trash. Now try this location since it’s close to my job and it’s worse. Burgers bland and was cold. The bartender shows no urgency or pace to run a bar and service patrons. Jakes original is way better and Keller’s. Wish I could give it zero.

Disappointed! Went to have dinner, hear band and watch women’s March Madness. After asking 3 time for them to put women’s on a TV with no results had to leave and go home to watch. What’s is that about??? Do they discriminate??

Fun place… bright (refreshing from the previous dark space) with lots of TVs, great food, and great service.Update: Understaffed, and apparently the manager can’t stoop so low to jump in and help.

I order through their app which was pretty easy to use. 5/5They charge $7 for Queso but it taste like $2.50. Wouldn’t recommend.The Jake burger was okay but a little bland for my taste. Food 3/5The interior looked like a standard bar with plenty of seating and a full bar. 5/5
