Customer service is great. The food quality is very good compared to Japanese buffet I’ve been. The the variety food is very good too they got noodles, sushi, fruits, and dessert. I like how the interior and exterior of the place feels very Japanese and how the even have a place to feed koi fishes is cool. I do miss their chocolate fountain with marshmallow, but other than that, 5 stars!!

Went there for my anniversary, never bothered to be seated. Chatty hostess ignored us but sat the next people to walk in while still ignoring us. Manager came up and I told him we were there before the people that were just seated and that we were taking our business elsewhere.

Took my wife and my dad here this evening. Cooked food was not good at all. Some of sushi was ok and seemed fresh. Oysters shrimp crab and tuna was horrible. So horrible it is 330am. I been up since 1am very sick. Paying 112 dollars for 3 people i would of expected better. Hopefully this just passes where i don't have to go too the ER. I do not recommend nor will we go back. Our server ELSA was amazing. Only enjoyable part of the evening was our kind server.

Really excellent buffet with lots of food options. Try the hot plate where they bring a little stove out to your table and you choose the broth, veggies, and meats. Really clean place and the service was really good. Highly recommend.

Japan house is a must visit for everyone who lives in Dallas or comes with a visit. The place is spotless and looks nice - it is run by a Japanese owner. It has great selection of sushi, rolls, sashimi and even ramen (Japanese noodle soup) and hot pot. They also have variety of seafood - big size shrimp, scallops and oysters. They also serve grilled lamb and salmon. Everything that we tried was delicious, fresh and tender.

Food was fresh and the fruit was really fresh and sweet. Sashimi is always good and the y have this salmon belly with spicy mayo on a scallop shell. So good. Wait staff is very attentive. Desserts were awesome as well especially the sticky rice cake (mochi) with sweet peanut powder!!

I was so disappointed by the food here. The sushi was not fresh and the texture was slimy. The lo mein noodles were flavorless. I tried switching to some fresh fruit and I found mold on it. I’ve had better quality food for $10, and my meal was $52 for two people. Really sad to say I will never be back.

Well decorated interior. Good staff with attentive attitude. The food is very good for a buffet of this type. There are lots of choices prepared in small batches so it is always fresh. Try the hot pot if you are feeling adventurous. The fried rice turned out to be my favorite. I would recommend Japan House.

Never tried sushi prior to this, so I can't fully judge quality of food terribly much. It was all decent, and I wasn't afflicted with any stomach issues (thank god). The interior is slightly old/run down, but the staff was all super friendly and quick to help us.
