Knife promises a lot and they deliver quite a lot. The dry aged steaks are their specialty, but their dishes are definitely of a shareable style. Opt for the 45-day to keep it safe but the 240-day is a nice experience. Pastas are great as well, generous portions and nice ambience. Recommended.

One of the best reasons to come to dallas, simply for knife. This place has ruined at stake for me gor life, because i've never experienced the same quality dry aged steak anywhere else. Service is fantastic and all reasonably priced.

This is a great restaurant through and through, I would highly recommend visiting. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely and comfortable. I would recommend if you’re looking for an upscale restaurant to enjoy a good steak at.

Halal options here include the fish-based meal - a recommendation is the line caught salmon. Ordered this well done and it was crusty at the top and well cooked inside - tastes amazing. Didn’t try the mac and cheese but I heard it was good. Had a taste of late spring tulip and it was good too. The meat may not be halal or kosher - so I’ll recommend to ask. The ambience was nice - given that we had a private dinner arrangement. The service was a bit slow though but not sure if it was because of the arrangement, so I may be wrong.

In MY opinion, the food was just ordinary... we could have had what we had FOR LESS at any other run of the mill steakhouse. I had the 6oz medium and the Brussel sprouts. My husband had the New York strip and the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes (pommes puree). My sons had the New York strip and 2 more sides of Mav and Cheese. The sides are pretty much what saved our meals. The mac and cheese was GREAT, and the mashed potatoes were as well. The creamed spinach was good however, the steaks for everyone was just ok.... mine was DRY, theirs were fatty. Generally the adage says the sign of a good steak is that you don't NEED SAUCE to make it palatable. These needed sauce. Our server was attentive the atmosphere was nice, I just wish the food matched

We very badly wanted to be impressed by this steakhouse but instead left wholly disappointed.
We were sat promptly with our reservations, but it took a while for anyone to give us water (the place wasn't busy at all). Then as more of our large party was getting there, they started coming around. It took 2 waiters plus a couple of runners to take care of our party of 15. I've been to quite a few other high-end steakhouses where one waitress and one runner/porter did a more efficient job with larger parties.
About an hour after everyone arrived and we put in our orders, they FINALLY brought out some room temperature bread just bare on a plate. It was perplexing because many of us said it felt like they happened to find some bread in the back and slapped it on our table. At this point, we were so hungry we dove into the bread, but I've definitely had better bread at like Cheesecake Factory.
A smattering of our party ordered salads, which were eventually brought out to the correct guests. They were fine, but nothing outstanding. I give them kudos for putting plenty of salad on the plate. If I wasn't so hungry I could have split the salad with someone.
We did however split the $155 45-day dry aged ribeye. I have to be frank here, I've had better tasting sirloins at Texas Roadhouse. Not sure, maybe it's the novel idea of using SALT as a seasoning. Side note - I hate it when high end restaurants don't put salt & pepper on the table! Everyone's tastes are completely different, you can't please everyone with one note seasoning. Regardless, this steak was in NO WAY worth $155. It also tasted like the grill flamed up on the kitchen, because it wasn't crusted & lovely - it was straight up charred in places while still maintaining a chew in the fat. Not rendered very well at all. We ate it because we paid for it, but left about $25 worth of steak on the plate. Another party member ordered the wet aged coulotte (a $25 selection) and it was so much better than our overpriced mistake.
The mashed potatoes were middling at best, roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower were fine, creamed spinach was tasty though.
It took quite a while for my beverage to be refilled as well.
I wanted to like this place but it very much felt like I was swindled out of $250.
Save your money & treat yourself to Pappas Bros., Steakyard or Billy Can Can instead.

Incredible steaks, great sides, good bread, very unique deserts and fantastic cocktails. Without exaggerating, the 45 day dry aged ribeye was the best steak I've had in my life. Definition of melt in your mouth, look forward to going back.

Knife is a good place to go for a nice steak dinner out. The steaks are well chosen, flavored well, and cooked to precisely your ask. The veggie starter and fresh choose your own bread for the table are great. We had the bacon sampler to start as well and that was phenomenal - would go back to have that alone. The steak itself is good but perhaps a bit over priced for what you are really getting. The sides are very good as well - we got the pommes (mashed potatoes). The biggest draw back for was was that this is more family oriented that we were expecting. There were more tables with young kids in the group than without and that definitely changed the atmosphere from what we expected.

We got the 75 day aged steak and 45 day. It was tender, juicy, and adequately aged. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially with the chimmichurri and salsa verde sauces. The service was excellent. The vanilla crème brûlée was delectable. Everything was made to order. Will definitely come back. Thank you!
